Although I'm on the NES bandwagon for haters, I think this is a innovative concpet the big N is coming up with. As long as there are some good games to utilize this feature, then it sounds nice. But as someone else mentioned, remember the Power Glove? Not quite the same design but the concept sounds identical.

Anyway, Nintendo IMO has always tried and tried to push weird designs and features with its consoles and they almost never work. I said earlier this year that the DS is like the Virtual Boy. A novel concept that wont survive. My words have'nt came true yet...but it looks that way.

Now, what I'm wondering is if any other outside developers have garaunteed a game or two for the system. If that isn't a yes, then I do see a problem for Nintendo. Ironically, I saw that DS was doing better than the PSP. I wonder will the Revolution be able to have some kind of hookup to the DS somehow? That could be another possibility....

Because there would be a lot of parents out there who probably wouldn't want to buy a video game system where the controller is a gun. Its more responsible for Nintendo to just release a seperate gun attachment and leave the controller as is.

I havent looked, but one of my roommates said EA has pledged full support so maybe we will get a football game that utilizes this unique design.
