Every clip I see makes me want this game more and more. The gore system is freaking awesome.

My concern with the game is that the multiplayer is just going to be tacked on as their really has not been much info and no videos not even a screenshot and the game is only a month away. We all know the single player is going to be great but multiplayer is what sells the game for me as that is where I spend most of my time.

I think that's a poor mindset to go into it with though. Not every game is going to have spectacular multiplayer, and Brothers in Arms is about the characters and single player. I'm not saying they shouldn't do one, but the pressure from the consumer for the amazing MP experience isn't a fair one in some cases -- this being one of them. I'm sure there will be MP but it's like, why would I want to play BIA MP over COD4 or TF2 or something else comparable that is most likely still going to do it better in the long run and have a stronger community following.

I get the desire for replay value, but at the end of the day even if BIA dumped a lot of resources into the MP I couldn't see tons of people staying around for a long time with so many solid war-themed FPS shooters out there.

Why not put at least a great co-op multiplayer then so you can fight with your online buddies in the campaign. Other first person shooters seem to have no problem putting multiplayer into their games as well as single player. Look at Far Cry 2 their having a great single player, multiplayer and a map creator. For instance should I not play Battlefield's multiplayer because I play COD4's, no because both games are different as one is more arcade run and gun and the other is more realistic pace. I know BIA's is going to have multiplayer I just want to see what it will be like. It's just my opinion and I realize multiplayer is not as important as single player to everyone, it all depends what type of gamer you are. Either way I love the BIA's series and I am really looking forward to the game.

I agree with that and I as well wouldn't want a crappy single player as that is their bread and butter so if their not really going to put an effort into multiplayer I would rather they not put it in at all. The thing I love about the BIA's series is the realism and the actual battlefield's the soldier's fought on. Are you planning on getting the collector's edition with the figure or just the standard edition?

I've been looking forward to this game since before the 360 came out. One thing has me worried though. In every video I have seen the game looks to have some frame-rate problems. Stuttering frame rates really bother me. I hope the final game runs at a smooth clip.

the framerate is usually on of the last things developers get to work so I think you will be ok.

OXM Review 9/10

• Good points - Intense squad combat that spins a good story. Fantastic graphics and realism.
• Bad points - Weird A.I. glitches; too-sticky cover system.

Multiplayer

• 10-on-10 well-designed maps.
• Does little to stand out from the herd, but it's there and it's reasonably fun if you want it.
• Think Counter-Strike for multiplayer: the goal is to collect and raise a flag, and the two teams take turns on offense and defense.
