Man, I don't want to jinx myself, but Man I haven't had any problems with my system at all. I have played for 3 hours over the weekend straight with not one issue. My system is the best ventilated aera in my house, My power supply has NEVER and I Mean NEVER got hot at all, I have the power supply right in the aera of my system, both breath very well, both never get hot, the system gets warm at best, and Like I said the power supply never gets hot.

 I called 1-800-4MY-XBOX Sunday and someone told me the console was "repaired" and shipped but no tracking number.
 
 I called 3 times today to get 3 different responses.
 
 1st call - Dude told me the console was "repaired" and sent out and I should be receiving it either today or tomorrow but no tracking number. I insist to have a tracking number so the guy gives me one. Come to find out that its the tracking number for the box they shipped to me.....not good.
 
 2nd call - Some guy tells me that they have receieved my console but he doesnt know if it has been fixed or replaced. I tell him that isnt what someone else told me and he doesnt change his story. He tells me that I should be receiving a tracking number on Wednesday.
 
 3rd call - Lady tells me they received my console and it was "repaired" on Dec 2nd and the 1st business day doesnt start until today. She goes on to say that I will need to call back in Wednesday for more info cuz none is available at the time. She also tells me that the turnaround for repairing a console is 3-5 business days.

 I need some help guys. What does three blinking red lights indicate? All red lights except the upper right quadrant. My 360 has performed pretty much flawlessly until today.  Well, I called them up and it's on. An empty cardboard box will be here tomorrow, all they want is the console and hard drive. I didn't buy the warrenty, but it's been less than 90 days, so I'm in the clear. Definently gettin the 2 year warrenty after this fiasco is over with. Wish me luck fellas, here goes nothing.  Thanks man, appreciate the advice. It's just really frustrating. When I pay several hundreds of dollars for a product (in this case, an Xbox 360) I expect quality in return. The good news is that this adventure isn't gonna cost me one red cent. The bad news is, of course, I'm out of an Xbox 360 for god knows how long.  Still no tracking number or any new news on my console. Ive been hearing that they are replacing consoles instead of repairing them. The guys who got theirs back in this thread havent came back to let us know anything, which means they only came here to vent (bitch).

 I feel your pain...MS never shipped a cardboard box out to me 2 weeks later. I called them several times and always got "I don't know why your box hasn't shipped yet, but it appears that it is scheduled to leave today. Call back tomorrow if you don't get it." I got tired of the run around, so I held out that my EB was going to replace it. Thankfully, my local EB came through for me and they replaced my defective unit yesterday. I logged a few hours on it last night, and so far no problems...didn't get the DDE once.
