I'm pretty sure I wouldn't camp more than 24 hours for one... and that's only to sell it.

The PC apps intrigue me. If they weren't so valuable, I would have liked to keep one. I'm pretty sure I'll get one next X-Mas though.

I know that Sony needs to get out of the gate this year, but wouldn't it have been smart to just wait till January or March at the latest to launch? This way they could get more systems out and not cause such a shortage.

Granted they are going to buildup hype with only 500K in US/JP systems being out there, it could only get worse with the failure rates on the PS3 also.

I'm living in a dreamworld with all the stuff I just said.

Exclusively online stores (e.g. Amazon) or sites for B&M stores like Bestbuy.com, Gamestop, etc.?

I haven't seen much info for either.

This hasn't been like the 360 last year where we had official allocation numbers weeks before launch to plan our attack.

PS3 uses virtual memory cards for both the PS1 and PS2 (think V-Mem for the PSX, without the akward blue plastic plug-in).

No adapters needed to save PS2 and PS1 games, only to transfer your *old* files to the PS3 or continue using old memory cards.

How much do you think on average a PS3 will sell on eBay. Im thinking over 2,000, due to it being harder to find than a 360, and also being more expensive.
