If I remember right ghosts can only be hurt by magic or silver and magic weapons. Though I could be wrong. I'll check to make sure.

I thought there were immune to magic? I'm not positive though. I remember in Morrowind, whenever I would enter these crypts and caves where ghost are, I would pull out my stroger weapon because my magic weapon had no effect on them.

See, I can't remember which is right. I get mixed up easily sometimes =P

I'll find out shortly and post what I find.

Got my answer alot sooner than I expected.

          Ghosts
These undead creatures come in many varieties, from the moderately powerful ghostly spirit, to the invincible spell-casting wraith. They are immune to physical damage so it's best that you strike only with magic or enchanted weapons. Not all ghosts or wraiths are potential enemies, some might even send you on a quest for them, like finding out who murdered them and why.

Here's the link I got that from.

Ah, thanks for the correction. I was mixed up. I did'nt know they send you on quest now to find out who killed them, thats cool. This game just gets better and better by the day.

speed on all this HDTV stuff).

              Thanks
Your tv's native resolution may be 720p. Plus, I think 360 games are developed in 720p.

I cant afford to recharge my weapon, I cant afford a house, I cant afford a horse because my last one died. Well not died, when his enegy depleted, he sort of galloped away to never be seen again. I'm so poor. I guess its time to get my thief on.
I wish games would have a better balance between being good and evil. I'm not terry where I take pleasure in being a virtual Dahmer. I wish you get items and money being good instead of being forced to steal all the time.

I was confused by my own answer though. I guess silver counts as enchanted or magical cause I certainly don't have an enchanted bow and had only silver arrows left yet I managed to kill a house full of ghosts.

And, Yes, The game does get better and better. =P

Being a thief is even better in this one than the last game.

Anyone know if you can poison anything besides weapons? I want to poison food in the worst way and drop it off at a few peoples houses. >=)

I'm just wandering around and every time I seem to get to a new area people want to THROWDOWN. I'm like, "Whoa, dudes, I just finished fighting RATS and GOBLINS -- can a brother get a handshake?!"

You could take up alchemy to make a little money. Just ride around picking all the alchemy stuff from the various plants and the meats from the animals and make yourself some potions to sell. Might take a while but its honest. =P

Of course the people might think you are a hippy or something. =P

Well, just like the real world, you can make a better and quicker fortune from stealing than being a honest hard working individual. There is a balance however, if you're evil, most ppl dont want to talk to you ruining your chance at getting more side quest thus ruining the chance at more rewards.
