          IGN review

          9.5 Presentation
Top notch storytelling, easy to navigate menus, and a wonderful upgrade to your map and journal are offset only by an inadequate hotkey system.
          9.0 Graphics
Gorgeous. It's too bad the outdoor loads occasionally cause hiccups, and background textures look less than stellar.
          9.0 Sound
Aside from a few glitches, voices, music, battle sounds and enemy screams are a treat for the ears.
          9.0 Gameplay
As fun as this game is to play, the combat system remains somewhat imprecise. Still, there's so much to do and so many ways to do it, you'll forgive its flaws.
          9.5 Lasting Appeal
The game is huge, with enough content to last an incalculable amount of time. As deep as single player gaming gets.
          9.3
          Outstanding OVERALL
(out of 10 / not an average)

It took me forever to realize that you can crack each tumbler one by one when picking locks. I thought I just couldn't do it because I played with a trackball.

My problem is deciding what to be. I have about decided to be a battlemage or a spellsword. I made a custom class I call "armormage" but I'm afraid it might be unbalanced and cause problems late in the game. A big Nordic barbarian is also appealing, just wade in and beat the crap out of everything.

I'm totally blown away by the sheer size of this game.
Man am I glad I got that new computer .

Also, it's absolutely insane...the amount of mods already available for this game.....and some of them are SICK!

Aren't you guys glad this game was delayed? I was very partial to Daggerfall, but I think this game is now my favorite Elder Scrolls game.

You actually get stronger AND weaker. If you don't feed, you become way more sensitive to the sun (it will kill you in seconds if you're not careful), but you gain other abilities as well. The further you go w/out feeding the more new abilities you get, HOWEVER, you do become weaker as well.

I was finally able to reverse the vampirism. It was such a pain. I do recommend making an extra 'Vampire Save' if you get it. Just to mess around and check out the new abilities. However, you don't wanna go with it unless you're committed to sticking with it. It's a pain in the *** to have to feed so much. I have a new respect for Vampires!

For the life of me I cannot complete the quest to get the fishscales. This damn arrow on the map keeps pointing to a dead fish. I went and saved the village that was turned invisible but a part of me needs to complete this fishscale quest. Any suggestions? Is the reward even worth it?

Congrats roadman! Now your really going to be sucked in by the game. Get ready for some lenghty sessions.

I finally closed my first oblivion gate at Kvatch and leveled up a few levels. I like how if you hit someone with an arrow while they're not looking it inflicts 3 times the damage, pretty cool.

This game is so immersive it makes me not want to play anything else. Anyone else experiencing the same feeling?
