So you stole it? If that's the case, talk to a guard, go to jail, and you're rid of the horse.

I DID piss him off by leaping him off of a cliff, though. I just wanted to see what happened. He let out a bigass neigh but didn't buck me off or anything. I figured I killed all the humans I could find, why not try a horse.

Tcrouch, you're my hero. I also jumped off a tall cliff with my horse. ******* thing survived.

Oh yea, you guys should try this. Whenever you see a nicely prepared table with food and the like. Jump on the table and knock everything off. Or grab things off shelves and toss them on the floor. Leave items in a persons bed.

Well..yeah, I got that part. But your FEET work, right? Run to a road, follow the road, talk to a guard (guards wander the roads, usually on horseback). Are you saying you're stuck in the middle of a field and can't move??

Re: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion discussion Part II

I forgot to share a great story from last night.

I was at some Inn somewhere, not sure which one. So after a good nights sleep, I head downstairs and there's this guy on the stairs, sneaking down to the first floor. So he starts talking **** as soon as I get near him. Not being the sadistic killer TCrouch is, I say whatever buddy I have places to be, things to do.

So as I'm making my way towards the door, I notice him sneak over to the guard so decided to keep an eye on him. He sneaks behind the guard and steals a silver bowl or plate or something right off the shelf, in broad daylight!!. The guard doesn't see him and the guy makes a run for it, heads back upstairs killing an innocent guest on his way. The clueless guard just stands there and does nothing.

So I head up to the 2nd floor and the arrogant prick is just sitting there at a table acting like nothing happened. I walk over to confront him, and he immediately starts talking **** again. So I say, ok now its on bitch, it's time for you to feel the wrath of my Warhammer. So I wind up, take a swing, somehow whiff even though he's sitting right in front of me. The little bitch takes off running, screaming that he's being attacked and I get arrested for trying to club him!!

Personally I think him and the guard have a nice little racket going on at this inn. When I level up some more, they're both gettin the warhammer right to the head.

That might be the coolest, most unique story I've heard about AI in a game in my life.

Tell me about it. I was so impressed I didn't even care about getting arrested. Sad thing is, I almost didn't notice it until I realized he was sneaking and I stopped to watch him.

Anybody messing w/ Alchemy? I didn't at all in Morrowind, but now I'm getting into it as well. We should have a recipe page!

I tried some but couldn't get anything worth a damn out of it. There's so much to do and I had so little time last night I was just going from one crime scene to the next. I'll probably slow my pace down a little and try to experience more of the early game tonight.

Had a weird thing happen last night.

I was exploring a dungeon and killed some of the bad guys and my health was low, so I find a mat and lay down for a little nap. 2 hours later I wake up and turn around to look at the mat I just laid down on and there was a bandit laying there as well. Now I'm not sure what happened between us but he was definately upset that I was leaving without saying goodbye so we had a fight and I killed him.

I guess it was a little Brokeback dungeon action or something.....

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

A little off topic, so forgive me for this.

Is there a way (PC version obviously) to enable a FPS meter so you can see what you are getting?

There is, but I'm not sure what it is. I'm guessing it's a simple setting in an INI file. I'll take a look when I get home.
