On another note, I love this game but I'm not understanding how to kill people. I want to get into the Dark Brotherhood but everytime I try and kill someone a guard knows somehow that something is going on. It can be in the basement of some house out in the middle of nowhere and a guard will bust in "Alright lawbreaker, yada yada yada." I've managed to knock out a couple of citizens but never kill anyone, what's up with that?

Here's an Alchemy faq that I found.

Anybody found any of those roots yet? I can't remember what the heck they're called. Is it Tanis root? But, they actually keep track in your stats of how many you found. In fact, when you find your first one it asks you if you want to make it your main quest? I thought that was odd.
I found one by swimming around in the ocean, landed on this small rock and saw one growing there. Didn't think it was anything special then this big screen came up telling me all about the quest. Anyone else find any of these? You'd know it if you did.PSN: JISTIC_OS

Yea, I found one doing a mage's guild quest. It told my to take it to an Alchemist to explain more about it. I have yet to do so however. Whenever I make it back to Imperial City.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

It puts into your inventory. Acquire a mortar and pestle so that you can combine the different ingredients to make potions and poisons.Comment

Those plants are called Nirnroot.
If I remember right the guy you turn them into buys ten of them from you for 250 gold or so. I think I found mine while.. Uhh.. "Exploring" some peoples houses in Anvil and Imperial City. THey can be found outside as well.

Got a question and I've been wondering about this since Morrowind. When you make poison potions and potions that take away 'your' health, stats, etc., what else can you do with those besides sell them? I know not to drink them but can you get enemies or other NPCs to drink them?http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion discussion Part II
I got a house in the Imperial City last night.
There was a quest that, without giving away any spoilers, let me "inherit" the house from its previous owner.
I also spent some time in the Arena, winning couple bets, then won two matches. The crowd loved the warhammer. I'm actually getting a little better with the thing. It doesn't take me all day to swing it anymore. In my first match I knocked the guy to the ground with my first swing, then pounded the life out of him while he was done. It lasted a total of about 4 seconds. My character has blade as a skill as well, but I'm loving my blunt weapons right now. I have the Warhammer as my two handed weapon and a mace as a one handed weapon, which i can use with my shield.Comment
