I think I need to block this site cause ya'll are really making me struggle. This XBOX 360 was the WORST thing I could have ever gotten as a engaged man. Holy crap!! Good thing I don't play online cause I'd already be in the negative and probably kicked out the house too. After this Miami vs. Detroit game, I might try and holler at the Marketplace to download the demo. Oh my goodness.......

You think this is bad, I was in Gamestop today and the clerk plus one of the customers talked me into buying Far Cry next week. I never played this series before, but they were telling me about setting traps in the game for your enemies and so forth. I was like wow.

I went to go pickup the Godfather and a Logitech Wireless PS2 controller.

Now, I will go and do this.

Again, this month has been crazy.

The gameplay seems to be all right so far, and in some cases the backdrops are quite nice (London). However, the textures of the aircraft imo are severely lacking, to me a next-gen flight sim shouldn't have planes that look like those from European Air War.

Just an FYI, I am a huge FPS fan and I could not get into Far Cry on the XBOX. You may totally love it, but I would rent it first.


As far as Blazing Angels, anyone experiencing any framerate drops? Heard that was a complaint on another forum.

Not getting framerate drops, but when I make quick manuevers occasionally the top half of the screen will lag about a split second behind the rest of it.

After playing the demo ... I'm not so sure. I really can't seem to adjust to the 3rd Person view, the handling is off - somewhere between arcade and sim, and it's just generally not feeling "right".

I'll give it another go tomorrow.

Same here.Just wasn't feeling the handling.I think the demo might have save me $60.I will give it another go today.If not, I will put the $60 towards Far CRY next week.

It's alright, but I'm just no so sure.... after playing the Angels Demo this morning i'm SOLD huge on that and Oblvion... i'm not a huge RPGer by any means, but this game is compelling and fun.

so sadly, the outfit will probably see "trade bait" on it soon.

FAR CRY!!! if you can play First person shooters and like some stealth mixed with gun pay, you are going too LOVE Far Cry. I've already got my copy preorderd. I've got no money left... lol.. time to donate more blood.
