    Without question it would be Microsoft Flight Simulator 4. A buddy of mine made me a copy of it back when there was no copy protection. I got into the flying thing that so much that I went to Software Etc. bought the game and every add on after. Then it was Falcon 3.0, and Airwarrior when GEnie Online was the big thing. If it could fly it I would buy it.

    Then it was Doom on shareware. Then came Indycar Racing by Papyrus, then it was Nascar Racing and Sports games.

    I didn't get into consoles until I bought an N64 because of Super Mario 64 and then it was a Playstation because of Racing games.

            The original Red Baron, that was the first PC game I ever had; and I remember spending hours playing it on a nearly daily basis.

                        Super Tecmo Bowl. Staying up all night with friends and finishing seasons was great.

                            Galaga and Pac Man...when I was little, I wanted to play these games wherever I saw them. From there, it continued on with the 2600, NES, Genesis...

                                    Silent Service.
                                    I played that game for HOURS....

                                    IndyCar Racing was another one....man I could have won a championship in real life with the experience I got from that game....but it started before then with Indianapolis 500. That game was UNBELIVABLE for it's time.

                                        Rainbow six 3 on xbox live..

                                        I was an average gamer before that, i didnt play aton but man did RB6 change all of that...I probably played that for 7 hours on average every day in summer

                                            Space Invaders....My whole Famliy played this game to the end...


                                            These are a few the great games that made me into the hard core gamer today, without these great games, I don't know if I would ever got started.

                                                I always played the super nintendo with my cousin's and me and my cousins also owned the genesis and I played the playstation and the nintendo 64 but the game and system that really turned me into a "hardcore" gamer was nfl2k on the dreamcast. It was the first game that I really "had" to have and I actually spent my own $50 on it and I was in 5th or 6th grade lol.

                                                        Many games turned me into a diehard gamer.

                                                        Super Action Football with the super action controller for Coleco - I remember spinning that wheel to throw the ball deep and the noise it would make. It was probably the first sports game I liked to play.

                                                        Raid Over Moscow C64 - combined about 3 or 4 games in one. I still remember the Kremlin sequence.

                                                        Ace of Aces C64 - probably my first flight sim if you can call it a sim.

                                                        The Train: Escape to Normandy C64 - I was hooked on this game.

                                                        Fourth and Inches C64 - I remember getting my butt kicked so bad in this game by my older brother that I refused to play it.

                                                        Original Test Drive C64 - I can remember staying up late driving the 911 fishtailing all over the place running from the cops all from behind the detailed interior and dash which was different from car to car.

                                                        Wing Commander IBM - All those battles with the kilrathi, what a time.
