Re: Nintendo Wii Information, hardware, games discussion
Anyone know of any other places that will be taking pre-orders for the Nintendo Wii anytime soon? The more I see, the more I like, might just wait til after the initial rush to get one, but the Zelda game, and Excite Truck sure look fun.Comment

I'm not sure. I know the online pre-orders have not started yet.

Have there been any features/hands on with this controller?

I'm still trying to decide if I want to get an extra controller on launch. I'll probably hold off on the traditional controller for awhile. At any rate, I have three weeks to make up my mind.Comment

I wasn't sure if that 512 could be used for game saves or just virtual console stuff. I'm hoping it does, and I'd assume it does, but I don't want to assume incorrectly and find out I can't save.

I'm not sure if the virtual console games or GC games will be compatible with the Wiimote, so you may need to pick up the classic controller if you want to play those classic games. I could be wrong though.

You're also going to need it for Super Smash Brothers Wii next year.Comment

Re: Nintendo Wii Information, hardware, games discussion
Yeah you will need to have the classic controller to play some of the games. Not all game(CLASSIC) are compatible with the WiimoteComment

Re: Nintendo Wii Information, hardware, games discussion
You can use Gamecube controllers for Gamecube games, but from what I understand you do need the other controller for everything else. I won't be dipping into that stuff for a while though.Comment

If past experience of any help, I would wait on Gamestop.com or Wal-Mart.com to start taking preorders. There should be plenty available, I would think.NFL: Tennessee Titans
MLB: Cincinnati RedsComment

So, there are 3 weeks left? When are the presales going to start for online orders? I'm thinking sometime this week.
