    Nintendo DS Lite

How many are going to pickup this bad boy next month?

    $129.99

    * It's less than two-thirds the size of the original Nintendo DS and more than 20 percent lighter.

    * Its two bright screens can be adjusted to four levels to adapt to different lighting conditions and to extend battery power.

    * The microphone sits in the center of the unit, and the LED lights are clearly visible whether the unit is open or closed.

    * The stylus is 1 centimeter longer and 1 millimeter thicker than the stylus of the original, and slides into a side storage slot.

    * The Start and Select buttons were repositioned for easier access.

    * A removable cover keeps the Game Boy® Advance cartridge slot clear from dust and debris when it’s not in use.

    * Lithium-ion Battery(approx. 6-10 hours play time depending on software and game play activity; 4 hours to recharge)

I want it, but not going to get rid of my current DS for it.

Are you going to just buy a second one than EG?

That New Super Mario Brothers has me interested and so does Tetris DS and CastleVania to name a few.

Now I know what you guys were talking about the Wii. I am watching the press conference again this morning and I wasn't able to pay full attention earlier in the week with the kids running around. It's looking very nice. If it's $199 or $249 it would be a no brainer to pickup for complementing the 360.

After watching Zelda, Mario Galaxy, Red Steel, Wii controller and a few others I can see why Nintendo co-stole the show with Microsoft.

I'm seriously thinking about it candyman. I used my PSP sparingly but ended up getting rid of it because the games were just ports. If I do get one, I'll probably try Mario, Tetris, and definitely Brain age

I already have a DS so no I won't be getting this one. Someone in a class I had last semester imported one of these from Japan and its pretty slick looking. It's not much smaller (though it is a little thinner) and there wasn't a huge difference in brightness between the two. It's definitly better than the original model but not enough to justify the cost of an upgrade.

I'm in the exact same boat as you are....the PSP games were great, but i don't travel enough, and while ports are fun, i'm not gonna play a port of a game when i can play the console verson. The DS has some unique, fun games i'd want to play anyways

After seeing The Secret of Mana sequel I'm seriously considering a DS now.

I was about to say just get it off ebay, but the bastards are charging $25 shipping minimum.

                    I'll be picking it up.

I was never a big handheld player, but the new Mario, Animal Crossing, Children of Mana, and Brain Age are appealing enough to make me fork out the bucks.

I've been thinking of picking a DS up for a while but haven't, I'll probably pick a DS Lite up shortly after it releases.

I will be getting a DS Lite.

There is a lot of great games out for the DS right now, and with Super Mario Bros, Yoshi's Island 2, Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Star Fox, Mega Man ZX, classic style Kirby, Castlevania: Potrait of Ruin, Diddy Kong Racing, Children of Mana, and Final Fantasy III coming...
