My confidence is shot at the moment. I am struggling on medium....

I would recommend finding that one song that is your best, your favorite - your go-to, and getting it down PAT on medium. Then kick it up to hard and work on that one song. Once you get that down, start back up at the easiest level of song on hard and work your way through. That is what worked for me.

well, you might say that now, but if the GH3 doesn't have the set lists from the first two games as downloadable content, you will probably end up going back and buying them because they are crazy fun to play.

I'm positive you will be able to dl GH1 and GH2 songs once GH3 comes out. It's easy money for the studio.

I don't want to buy GH2 with the wired controller and then drop another $50+ for the wireless guitar that comes out later this year. I'll just wait for GH3 which I expect to see this November.

I actually prefer the wired controller. Maybe the one for the PS3 will be better, but I have a wireless and a wired, but I usually only use the wired one. The wireless one is on the same frequency as wireless routers and I get some interference in there. I used to play all my PS2 games in my office, but I had to move it out of there because the wireless guitar kept losing sync because of my linksys router. At least that the only thing I can determine is causing the interference in the office, and I know both the guitar and router are on the 2.4 ghz frequency. Maybe there's a way to change the channel on the router, but there isn't on the guitar. Batteries are a pain in the butt too.

But, if GH3 does have downloadable content to get all the previous versions' songs, that's the way to go for sure.

I had a similar problem when it came to slow download times on my Wii. All I did was change the channel that my Wireless Router uses and the problem was solved. Perhaps the same would be the case with your wireless controller problem.

I might try that. I really don't know much about routers and all that junk, and I didn't want to upset my online connections throughout my house (XBox, Wii, DS, laptops, etc). Will changing the channel affect any of those or will the change be transparent to them?

I know this is still a GH2 thread, but I just have to say it....

I did it. I passed Cowboys from Hell on Expert. I don't know if it's possible to have a worse passing score than 78,574, but I'm gonna take my Battle Axe and run like hell from that song.

That song seriously pissed me off to no end. It wasn't even like I didn't know how to play the song... I think I memorized all of the riffs, but it just wasn't "registering" everything that I played. I suppose if it worked like GH2, I wouldn't have had any problems.

But after trying maybe 70 times with Cowboys From Hell (and I'm being literal), I beat Bark at the Moon in two tries. I just needed to know when to use my Star Power, and I was good.

I can't do anything on Expert (for GH2, I don't have the first one). I was super cocky after beating Hard only to get dismantled on everything I tried on Expert...I'm sticking with trying to get ***** on Hard for now.

It took me so many more times than that to beat CFH. I don't have a number, but considering I beat Expert BATM on the 6th of December (i didn't remember that, it's actually posted in this thread) after GH2's release, and I'd been trying constantly to beat CFH until last night....well, you get the idea.
