    Team Fortress 2 Hands-on
What was old is new again.

After 15 minutes, I begrudgingly relinquished my chair to another excited journalist. I could have stayed at EA's event and played TF2 long after the show and been packed away into boxes, but fortunately, I and the rest of the gaming community don't have much longer to wait for The Orange Box, perhaps the best value in the history of gaming: Half-Life 2, its two episodic expansions, Portal, and Team Fortress 2, an easy contender for multiplayer game of the year, and one with which any multiplayer gamer will find happiness.

Of the upcoming games this is the one I am most looking forward too. Mostly because its a little different. I never played a cartoon looking (think I"ncredibles") team/class shooter like Team Fortress. (If you haven't seen it, check out 'The "Soldier" video on the xbox marketplace). Then you get Portal which is also unique and I've never played through Half Life 2.

I just beat Half-Life 2 on the PC, I got it 2 years ago, great game even though I prefer a controller over kbm. I cannot wait until this comes out, best deal in gaming.

                  Re: Half-Life 2: Episode Two (360/PS3)

The British Gaming Blog notes that the Orange Box (Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode 1, Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Portal, and Team Fortress 2) will be available for pre-order via Steam starting next week. What's more, ordering the games via Steam will give you access to an advance Beta test of Team Fortress 2. "The Orange Box contains Half Life 2, Episodes 1 and 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2; you'll have to purchase the entire package to receive the Beta.

Valve recommends giving the extra codes for Half Life 2 and Episode 1 (if you already own them) to someone who's been missing out. Not explained on the actual pre-purchase page is an added bonus for early adopters, Peggle Extreme; a special edition of Popcap's Peggle featuring new challenges and Orange Box related artwork."

It has 99 achievements! That's the most I've ever seen.

                      TF2: Meet the Engineer

Nine distinct classes provide a broad range of tactical abilities and personalities. Constantly updated with new game modes, maps, equipment and, most importantly, hats!

I bought the first one for PS2 today just to get ready to play thru the second one again as well as TF2, Portal, and the two extra episodes.

At $54.99, this game is going to be a steal.

Downloading close to a gig of high def videos from IGN. I hope I don't like what I see, because I don't need anymore games.

I have little to no free time anymore so gaming has taken a back seat plus I don't have XBox Live until next year so I'll probably be waiting until Jan to get this. Great series.

This is arguably the best videogame bargain ever. Half-life 2, Episode 1, and Episode 2 is 35 hours worth of gameplay, then you got Portal and what will be one the best multiplayer games this year with TF2.
