Okay, so aiming down the iron sights is possible. I pressed every button my controller and couldn't figure out how to do it. The map in the video looked pretty good IMO!!!

Left Trigger aims down the sights.. Same as CoD

Kind of unimpressed with the game. 30 FPS feels so slow after playing Call of Duty for so long. Feels like an average shooter with Battlefield name tacked on. Destruction is cool, especially when I am sniping out of a window and someone shoots the whole wall out on me. Why can I drive a tank through a wall of a building but not be able to go through the stairway or ladder?

Is there a way to adjust the gamma in the game? It is way too dark! I hate messing with my video setting on the TV.

Finally got to play. It needs some polish, especially the shooting. Bullets just don't seem to register all that well. Either that or it takes a lot to bring somebody down. Controls could use some work too. I'm liking it though. To me it's a more like BF2 than Modern Combat. I just need to know if the retail version will have Conquest and Warfare. If it does, then I'm definitely picking it up. Oh yeah, the audio is amazing.

Thats how the game is, it used to take 3/4 of a clip in Modern combat to get someone down.

I played the game for about a hour this evening. It was very diffulcult at first because there is so much action going on and your trying to figure out the buttons. I think during the third round I started to get it more and the voice chat started to work. Squads are going to be very important in this game to get stuff done. It does work a bit like BF2 but perhaps not as deep. One bad thing with the controls was that when you switched to the knife it would slice and I killed a teammate in front of me multiple times. Also, to bring up your alternate weapon(grenade lauched, RPG, etc..) hold down the rb button. This game does have some potential. Just needs some more polish

For those fortunate souls that actually got a key and can play - Do you think this game will be worth it when it goes retail? I played the COD Beta and was sold. The retail version was only an extention of an already solid game IMO....
                      Truly Blessed -

I definitely think it will be. Plus you now have the single player portion, which DICE has put a lot of work into too.

I'm really having fun with the beta. It's especially fun when you got teammates who know what they're doing. Gold Rush is growing on me, but I still want Conquest.

I dont think they can technically do conquest, because of the destruction. They cant put the flags on any buildings..Which was a huge part of MC.

Sure they can, since the buildings can't be fully destroyed. Stairs and ladders can't be destroyed and that's all you need

I'm having fun, but sniping at extreme long distances you can't tell diff between enemy and teammate (i got 2 tk's last night)

no parachute when you're riding sling in the chopper

no entering building through window a la cod4 (at least not for me - you can blow it up, but if you're sniping you don't want to)

Y button complete waste of a face button for 'pulling out the knife' - should be like any other weapon selection. In fact i wish the controls were like every other shooter esp. cod4.

I wish the maps were more of a huge circle or oval instead of sort of a rectange (can seem a little thin AT TIMES)

It's good though...steep learning curve, i need to get back on there.
