They really need to fix the bullet damage. Shooting a guy with 30 bullets is way to much.

Yea, I had this problem as well. Once I unlocked the XM8 and slowed then a little I started to have more success.

I can usually take someone down with 3, maybe 4 short bursts now (depends on the distance). At first I thought it was just the power of the gun I was using but after switching back to the default assault weapon I was still successful. I think my main problem before was that I would just shoot at the enemy anywhere on his body, but now I'm aiming for the upper body/head exclusively, and I can definitely see the difference. There are still those WTF moments when I unload a entire clip into some one, only to have the turn around and kill me, seemingly unhurt. If I unload an ENTIRE clip into you from 3 feet away you should die, period.

I've talked to a couple of people now who've tried the beta and the majority don't really like it. My father said it looks like CoD4 with color..lol. I actually like it though, I was a big fan of BF2 and played it extensively when it came out. I love going demolition and blowing up tanks/choppers from long range.

I was hyped about this game, but after watching footage and reading more about it doesnt seem as revolutionary as they tried to make it sound.

I'm sick of FPS's so I think I'm gonna pass on this one.

Agreed. Although I am not sick of all FPS's (CoD4) - I am not as impressed going forward as I was during the initial media and developer diaries regarding this game.

me too, i haven't touched the beta in 5 days and I'm not missing it. I really thought it would be the shooter of 08, but it's not there...it's good, maybe even a buy, but it's not amazing. the visuals are not clear enough and they use that awful draw-distance cover-up of 'fog' or 'sand' etc..Also I believe there should be double the players allowed online for maps this big.

They cannot fix these things for release though, so I'll just have to wait until then to see if i'm still at all interested.

We sat down for a talk with Karl-Magnus Troedsson, Senior Producer at DICE working on Battlefield: Bad Company, to get the final word on exactly what users will find in both the standard edition for Battlefield: Bad Company as well as the Gold Edition, and how all that works into the wonderful world of microtransactions.

So just so every single one of our readers is clear on what they'll need to do to get every single weapon in Battlefield: Bad Company, here's a quick summary. The Gold Edition, priced at $69.99, will have five weapons not seen in the launch disc in the Standard Edition. Those who purchased the Standard Edition can unlock these guns by reaching the level cap of 25. Both Gold Edition and Standard Edition users will have to participate in five separate EA marketing programs (no purchase necessary, we're told it will be easy as signing up for a newsletter), each of which will have one weapon.

Great news for all players looking forward to Battlefield: Bad Company this June. We are happy to announce that Conquest will see its inclusion in Battlefield: Bad Company post launch, available as a free download on both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Beta feedback has shown that there is a great desire for Conquest mode in Battlefield: Bad Company, alongside the much appreciated Gold Rush mode, and when the full game is done the team in Stockholm will start working on Conquest. More details are to come on the release, so stay tuned!

In Conquest mode, the aim is to reduce the opposing team’s tickets to zero. Killing an enemy soldier depletes one ticket per kill, whilst capturing control points on the map causes enemy tickets to count down. The game mode was hugely popular in games like Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142 and we look forward to seeing everyone enjoying Conquest, as well as Gold Rush, in this summer’s blockbuster shooter – Battlefield: Bad Company.
