DICE, a studio of Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) today announced the multiplayer beta test for Battlefield: Bad Company on the Xbox 360™ video game system from Microsoft®. IGN Founders’ Club and IGN Insider will offer keys to members and the public in North America and Europe to participate in the multiplayer beta test starting March 17 provided by IGN’s popular game download site FilePlanet (http://www.fileplanet.com). In addition, keys will also be available through IGN Entertainment’s gaming Web sites including IGN.com, GameSpy, TeamXbox, Planet Battlefield and Voodoo Extreme. Battlefield: Bad Company will launch on the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360 in June 2008.

They are doing another wave of beta keys, just havent started yet

If I had to guess it would be Monday morning. Just because they obviously would not do it on a sunday. And tuesday is when the beta goes live.

I got in the other day. already can download it too. Looksa like they are really trying to turn Battlefield into a good single player experience too.

Well, if they release IGN codes and public keys, you should be great. The IGN codes were still available until yesterday.

But I do think they will be tomorrow, and early tomorrow, because thats when the other keys were available.

I'm not counting on it, I was excited with earlier videos, but the one on the download where you are shooting gold..ugh, looks utterly stupid.

Adding to the fact you have to actually buy the weapons, game is turning me off. But I'll still try the Beta and give it a fair shot. I loved 1942, but didn't care much for Vietnam or 2.

I'm in looking at the Awards screen......some good stuff in there as far as achievements and such. I wonder if the patches will be applied to our character online??? Meaning will his fatigues have them on it online?? That would be cool..........

I'm not nearly as impressed with the destruction as I was when I first saw it. It's cosmetic destruction with scripted hitpoints, but I wouldn't base what the gold crate looks like blowing up as to what everything else will look like too.

Got my key from Gamestop today (ordered Friday), and then cancelled my order immediately after I downloaded it, lol.
