dude wtf, I put the game in, struggle to get into a game, finally get into a game run up and shoot at a tank-----3 rings of death. wow what a disappointing evening.

i thought COD4 was more special forces oriented. Bad Company is more ground troops type warefare, so you probably wont see any night vision missions or anything like that. i mean, Bad Company is in the army, so its a more straight forward game. but to answer ur question i think it is so far.

I just got in an hour with the single player and so far it's pretty good. The levels are BIG, which is cool, and makes the game feel more open. The gameplay is pretty intense. I really like how almost everything in the environment is destructable. I went to take cover from a tank inside a house... and then the house was gone, lol.

One thing I don't like is how your team mates don't take charge on the missions. I don't mind leading everyone around.. it just doesn't make much sense being that I'm the new guy. Though all in all it's pretty fun so far. Now it's time to go give the multiplayer a go.

Kind of. So far I've had a Rifle and a Rocket Launcher. But I haven't seen any pistols or secondary weapons, which kind of sucks. I haven't played much though, so maybe something will turn up.

Game is awesome online and off. The maps are sweet online, and may overtake COD4 for me. It's very much like COD for me where I don't mind playing with randoms. Love the whole epic feel of the battles.

Single player is actually really good.

I still notice the grain, but not as noticeable as the demo.

You carry one gun at a time, except with certain kits. Like the shotgun has a rocket launcher. The machine gun has grenades, the M16 has a grenade launcher attachment.

In single player & multiplayer though, there are weapons everywhere when people die if you want a new one. I like it, seems more realistic, that I don't have 10 guns on me at all times.

I played for a while this afternoon.

Single player - Kinda lame...at least for me. AI isn't too bright to say the least. It's hard to see the bad guys when they can easily see and shoot you. Mostly they just stand in one spot and fire away until you finally kill them. I'll play it to beat it...then I'm done SP.

Multi player - Basically the bread and butter of this game IMO. I guess there is only one type of game play...the attack and defend...or at least that's the only one I played. The maps are large, varied, and look very nice. I had a blast running around just blowing stuff up. Very hectic for the most part though. I would like to see a smaller teams option, and maybe different games like Halo.

It's one of the better multi player games I've played online.
