Re: Dreamcast would have turned seven this year
SEGA had some really nice original IPs on the Dreamcast. I'm really surprised that they didn't try to bring over many of those games to the Ps2/XBX or even talk of bringing some to the next gen era.
How sweet would Powerstone be on the 360 with the horsepower in that system, or even bringing Shenmue 3 out, or how about another Seaman game? I can keep on going on and on about this.
I used to own both a US and ASIAN Dreamcasts, 1 for the domestic games and the other for the imports.
It's terrible to see what has become of SEGA these days and as much as I am against publishers/developers being exclusive I think they would of had better development catering to just one of the publishers. I think that SEGA and Nintendo would of been a perfect match just because of Sonic alone. They tried to go multi platform with Sonic and we had some very bad games up until Sonic Generations last year. SEGA has been restructuring itself again the last few months due to poor sales so it will be interesting to see where they head direction wise.Comment

Re: Dreamcast would have turned seven this year
I waited in line for 3 hours first thing in the morning on release day in Philly.......................this console introduced me to NFL 2K and NHL 2K and was really felt like "next-gen" gaming.Comment

Re: Dreamcast would have turned seven this year
Definitely my 2nd favorite console behind my PS3. I loved the memory cards they had and how some games integrated it.Comment

Re: Dreamcast would have turned seven this year
I not only have working controllers (2), I still have a working fishing rod controller for Bass Fishing/Marine Fishing!
2nd fave console of all time after NES. Gave the world NFL2k. Legacy enough for any system.
Edit: Whoa! Just realized the epic grave-digging of this thread. Nice work, boys!Last edited by pietasterp; 09-11-2012, 01:09 AM.Comment

Re: Dreamcast would have turned seven this year
Getting bored with my Dreamcast games. Which do you guys recommend?
So far I've played hours of:
Soul Calibur
Jet Grind Radio
Tony Hawk 2
I don't wanna play Resident Evil, Sonic or Shenmue.Comment
