Theres been a lot of discussion about this on other forums. Only time will tell if they are able to honor them or not. Apparently the link got leaked prematurely and BB was not expecting the rush when it happened.

If these orders do go through, mine is going on ebay also. If I can sell this thing for $1-$2K, it helps me get some extra XMAS money for the family.

I read on another forum that BB wasn't expecting it, they're likely to be canceled. Good luck to those who did place an order, maybe they'll honor it for you.

How do these people know this? If Best Buy wasn't expecting it, why didn't they stop taking preorders? Makes little sense and sounds like sour grapes from those who didn't preorder one. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think if they didn't want to take them, they would not have went through.

Personally, I don't care too much if I get one or not, but I don't think they will be canceled. I've seen things like that happen before, so I guess it's possible, but how would anyone know this before it actually happened?

I hope everyone on here who preordered it on bestbuy.com gets it, but I wouldn't count on it. For 2 reasons...

1 - Go to Bestbuy.com and search for the PS3. You don't find either one of those links, at least I couldn't find a way to find them. Plus, on those links it has the PS3's model number as ABC?

2 - And this is the biggie, the preorder was up for 4-5 hours. I've read on other forums where people bought 20-30 systems by themselves since there were no restrictions.

I didn't even bother, but I hope you guys do get your PS3's

Yeah I agree, BB or most giant retailers I think have a clause where if they don't charge your card they don't have to honor it. Also BB would definitely would not honor someone buying 20-30 machines in bulk.
