Sounds good, Terry. I'd like to get a group of 4 guys, and try to run a co-op. I know that might be difficult, but I don't see myself playing too much of it alone. If I'm not around late tonight (came into work at 6am), I'll be around tomorrow, and all weekend.

Re: Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
You mean I won't be able to run co-op with you the one night you play this game before you become interested in something else? Oh darn.Helen: Everyone's special, Dash.

Re: Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
So they are going to sell playable characters on the marketplace? That seems like a cool idea, as long as they come with unique special powers and stuff. It is crappy they are making people pay for stuff like that, but I'd probably still buy a few.
Picked up the game earlier today, I will be playing soon and possibly looking for online games later this evening.Comment

Re: Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
Just a heads up:
Hulk will not be appearing in the game at all. Vivendi Games has the license to Hulk, and has not allowed Activision to use him. Bruce Banner is a different story, which is why he makes an appearance.Comment

Re: Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
I am thinking of picking this up, but first I have a question. From all of the videos I have seen, it looks like it can get awfully hectic and confusing because the game seems to play really, really fast. Does anyone have a problem with the speed, or is it not an issue at all?
Thanks!NCAA: Michigan Wolverines

Its pretty much a mess to me in a room with 3+ badguys and the 4 good guys. It can be difficult to tell my teamates apart from the bad guys. This is something that was really bad my first few fights but did improve as I played more, I started to get a feel for the game pretty quickly. I'll let you know if it keeps being so hectic, hopefully I just need some more time to get used to it.
With all of that being said, its still really fun to run around beating up everything in sight. The number of different ways to kill somebody is impressive for such a simple, easy to pick up game. Right now my biggest complaint on that end is that I am finding it hard to use some of the range attack special powers because the game moves fast and it requires accurate aiming.Comment

Re: Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
I just want to add that on the plus side of the speed, they made the health/power boosts automatically go to team members that need them, so once you start killing people and they pop up everywhere, you don't need to worry about who grabs them.Comment

Re: Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
The speed of the game is a bit of an issue for me, but as was the case with Xmen Legends, I'll get used to it. Sometimes there's so much going on I can't tell who is hitting what, and I even lose where I am in the mix. Still, this is one of those games that makes you a little giddy if you're a Marvel fan. Playing as Silver Surfer is just too dang cool!Comment
