It says we can play video straight from cd's, dvd's, and memory sticks. Any format?

I hope so. I had problems streaming certain video types through Xbox Media Center.

The fall update is now available via XBOX Live!

1080P does not work for me using the component cables with my TV. I hope they come with a HDMI cable soon.

Only Splinter Cell from what I understand.

There's some 1080p video's at this site if anyone wants to try with their 1080p sets.

no, if MS made an HDMI cable available you could upscale the games to 1080P if your TV supports 1080P.

there are currently zero games in 1080P for 360.

I got the new update this morning. It's pretty nice. Some things I like are when you got the arcade, all your games pop up quick. You can set it to automatically download any new arcade game (trial version), so you don't have to go looking for it. They are also nicely placed in there now.

The memory area is greatly improved. Instead of 11gb, it's 11.3gb. And when you go in, it has games 2.7gb, etc. So every item now lists what it's taking up on the HDD. Nice.

The videos are hard to get to now, they seem really buried to get to your trailers.

Um, the marketplace moves FAST now. The new icons for marketplace and arcade are nicer than the plan text.

You can change your theme now on the last blade, there's an option right there instead of clicking the X ring and going into your profile settings.

The dashboard seems to hitch a little when making certain changes, could have just been me this morning as well. That's all I can remember off the top of my head.

Anyone having trouble getting their 360 to detect their pc? Ever since I downloaded wmp 11 beta it hasn't worked, and its not working with the final version either. WMP is detecting my 360 and allowing it, but I can't get a connection from the 360's side. Any tips?

Other than that im really liking this update.

In WMP, go to the library tab. Hit it, select SHARING, your 360 should show-up. Select-it & Share away....

I already have allowed it a dozen times, its not working. It detects my 360 but my 360 doesn't detect my pc.

Go in to your dashboard. Go to computers & see if your computer is there & connected to your 360.

We'll I must say KUDOS to Microsoft on this update... I am now able to stream WMVHD VIDEOS without having Windows Media Center..

Just watched the T2 WMVHD Trailer off of www.wmvhd.com & it look stunning. I'm definitely impressed with this update so far. Now I can watch Game Videos in HD on my 57" HDTV instead of my 15.4" Widescreen Laptop....

On your 360, when it fails to detect your PC, select the "Find Another Computer to Connect To" option. Select your PC and it should work.

I'm somewhat disappointed that WMVs are the only format supported, but I should have expected it.
