Well it said that at least data cd's and dvd's can be read so that's good news since I burn most of the tv shows and movies that I get as a data cd.

That's .wmv videos. Not Divx, Xvix, Avi etc.

Can someone tell me how to get the vids to stream from the pc to the 360? On the 360, it says no videos found. Where do I need to put the vids to get them to show up? Any other steps? thanks...

EDIT: i am connected to the pc, and can play my music from the computer.

my tv supports 1080p over component, i thought they said that all games would be upscaled to 1080p with this update?

I cant get the media sharing option to show up under the library tab. Any ideas why not?

Alright I've got it working for now, I got rid of wmp 11 and just used windows media connect 2 on its own and its working for videos and everything. Hopefully i wont have this issue when vista is released but i'll cross that bridge when i get there.

I also had 7gb left on my HDD as of last night, after I ran the update today I'm at 7.4gb.

Is it me or does the DVD drive sound louder after this update?

It's still the same. The blade now shows it in exact numbers. I had 11 gigs last night, I have 11.3 now.

EDIT - never noticed the loud dvd drive comment, and yes, it does sound louder to me too.

there are currently zero games in 1080P for 360.

from 5-6 feet away u ain't gonna see a HUGE diff...esp if the game isn't true 1080p itself

it'll be like watching a DVD without progressive scan then with progressive scan

Strangely I think it is louder and one of my mates is saying the same too.

I'll ask again since my 360 has been shipped for replacement. Can we watch all video formats on DVD, CD, and mem stick now? Like xvids etc.?
