I've found hanging out on the second floor over the entrance makes it a bit easier to take them out as soon as they enter the door.

I am seriously about to throw my controller and kill someone. I can't seem to defend the house without getting killed. It is pissing me off to no end. I have literally spent the last hour trying to complete this. I'm giving up until tomorrow.

Meh, that part wasn't to hard. I think Act 3 gave me the most fits as well as anything involving Theron. Can't poke your head up for a second with those bastards around.

Almost forgot about that. I ran through that part on hardcore on co-op and didn't have to switch between driving and the spotlight. I still technically died right as crossed the line for the cut scene though.

Okay...not to be stupid, but..how the hell do you use the chainsaw? When I have and hit the B button he will lash out with a melee attack. When I have the chainsaw gun it revs up the saw with the B button, but doesn't always attack. What am I doing wrong?

You probably don't have the chainsaw gun...you have to hold down b, and the chainsaw will rev up if you have it.

Just encountered the Bezerker for the first time. That thing is a beast. The levels are linear but the gameplay and environments are so varied. It hasn't gotten repetitive for me yet. Damn, the only time I get to play for a while is on the weekends. Single Player is awesome. Again, anyone playing this game on casual, Hardcore is the way to go. It's hard but not unfair. Challenging, not impossible.

Hardcore difficulty all the way man!

You probably don't have the chainsaw gun...you have to hold down b, and the chainsaw will rev up if you have it.

It revs but attacks inconsistantly. Is it that you have to be facing the enemy a certain way while holding down the button? Or do you have to press the button once you are facing the enemy?

The way I use it (please someone correct me if necessary) is hold down b, and face whatever I want to chop up...when they get close to you it will automatically lower....

If you get shot before the chainsaw attack animation starts, you have to re-rev the chainsaw by pressing B.

So if you walk up to a locust and he hits you while you had the chainsaw revved, you must let go of B and hold it again to re-rev it.

I didn't realize that-I'm mostly on the defensive when it comes to chainsaws anyway. By the way can you one shot someone with the shotgun to the head and kill him?

I'm at work also thinking about GOW and what they could do in a sequel. LOL!
