If were to get either GOW or COD3 (only one), which one should I choose? I typically only play Football and Hoops titles, but I did enjoy GRAW. I don't get to play too much on-line, but would if either title is amazing multi-player.

Thanks for all of the impressions so far. This game sounds awesome! And so does COD3. In a perfect world I would just go scoop up both, but for now, which one should I go grab?

I was super impressed with the little time I spent with COD3, but returned it because I could rarely get online with it. GearsOfWar has made me forget about COD3.
PS-Online they were saying that Rainbow6-LasVegas will have many of the elements that GOW has.

I have played some online games and the 1st act and I just can't get into this game. The whole falling down, but not dead thing is annoying. I greatly preferred GRAW.

It should be noted that Cole Train is a true beast.

He is the second best character in the game after Carmine.

I have played some online games and the 1st act and I just can't get into this game. The whole falling down, but not dead thing is annoying. I greatly preferred GRAW.

Normally I wouldn't say anything, but I'd give this one a little more time Bryan. This has quickly become my favorite 360 title, coming on the heels of my most disappointing 360 title (COD3).
PS-Ironically The pistol is a great mid/long range weapon-you can even zoom it a little with a click of the Right Stick-the bullets come out as fast as you can pull the trigger.

I can't get out of this game, i also got COD 3 but can barely play it because GOW is so much fun.

If you go to versus in the option menu to set your default COG character, Carmine's profile reads "Voted most like to get shot."

I prefer the six shooter pistol over the standard issue. Its slower but packs more of a punch.

I keep getting smoked online! Maybe I just have to practice, but I always have someone either coming behind me and chainsaw me to peices or some jerk straps a bomb on me. By the way, how do you strap a bomb on someone? Pretty sick move!

Since Tuesday I've been enjoying the game offline, rocking with the single player. Tonight I got some games in with EG, ZXLT, and a few others. One of the greatest games ever in my opinion, great single player, awesome multiplayer. The online maps are insane, Epic really put alot of thought and time, the sizes are just right, everything is perfect.

Agreed. I want to use him in multiplayer, because according to CliffyB, he says "whoo" when he hops down from things.

He does it a lot. He also said Mmm, meatloaf, nice and fresh and I chainsawed a locust.
