the Tank seeing glowing objects should make people just stop rage charging the survivors now and dying 3 seconds after spawning.
The update did fix the blocking issues, they also blocked the ramp in No Mercy with boxes. Too bad they removed the Smoker instant kills, as that was more strategy than using glitches.Comment

I don't like this update at all. The MiniGun Exploit and the AutoShottie vs. Tank were the only hopes I had of EVER beating a chapter on Expert.
Now, gone.

I never knew how to do that with the smoker. I had it done a few times against me though.
I like the glowing red objects for the tank and i also like the hud that shows what your team is when infected, their health and how much time until the spawn. I don't think that was there before, but I could be wrong.Comment

I should be on tonight, I played some last night with the new patch. it seems a lot harder for the survivors to make it to the save house now. Smokers are really fun to play with. tanks and witches seem to spawn less frequently(witches spawn directly in the path so you are forced to go threw her now). and now with all the major glitches fixed, this game is probably the best multiplayer game on a console now, at least in terms of fun.

So things being moved in front of doors has been fixed?
Also, as far as the smoker, why is it better now? I didn't play online a ton before the patch to notice the changes really. I'm glad it's harder for the survivors to make it to the safe house.
What time do you guys plan on playing?Comment

yes, you can't move things big enough to block doors/man holes now. even the small trash cans are hard to move.
the changes they made to the Smoker just made it a little better(at least for me). before the patch, the smoker was the one I didn't want to be, but now it's about equal. I actually have the most fun being the Boomer and causing havok to the survivors. lol
changes made to the smoker:
-Fixed Smoker tongue tolerance.
-Smoker now has to be killed or the tongue destroyed for the tongue to break.
-Survivors cannot bash someone off the tongue until the Survivor being pulled is paralyzed or hanging
-Tongue attacks that fail to paralyze or hang a Survivor will use the shorter ability delay timer.
-Fixed cases where the ability timer was not using the correct time.
-Fixed case where you could point at a Survivor but not register a tongue hit.
-Fixed Smoker tongue not targeting and landing properly through PZ ghosts.
-Smoker tongue does damage every second while dragging paralyzed Survivors.
especially the one about doing damage by dragging them, Smoke them from a distance drag them back to you(it does somewhere 2-7 damage a second if i remember correctly), get the boomer to "spit" on him and you got a really sticky situation. lol. you can't instant kill any more with the smoker but overall is better.
it says "Survivors cannot bash someone off the tongue until the Survivor being pulled is paralyzed or hanging" but thats not really true, if you melee the survivor before he hits the ground and gets dragged, you can knock the smoker's tongue off. I don't think you can if he is being dragged though. either have to kill the smoker or shoot the tongue.Comment
