Re: Little Big Planet (PS3)
No one has yet.
Not sure if I want in... lol. I kind of want to hold off for the completed version as this is one of most anticipated titles and I don't want to ruin the excitement with a beta.Comment

Re: Little Big Planet (PS3)
Man I was always wondering what the buzz was about this game and then I starting digging in and viewing the videos. This game looks freakin' sweet, very far out there but it just seems so fun. I'm going to at the least rent it and really think I may pick this one up.Comment

Re: Little Big Planet (PS3)
LBP takes up one whole BR disc.

Although Sony never introduced it as such, many assumed the Network-friendly LittleBigPlanet would be a downloadable game. That notion is impossible, it appears, as a new interview with GI.biz reveals otherwise. Media Molecule's Alex Evans says that "a dual layer is 40GB, but we're filling up the Blu-ray. One of the things on there is we're having a lot of tutorial content - basically there are two paths through the game, the player's route and the creator's route."
The tutorial content will be extensive in LittleBigPlanet. "We're filling the Blu-ray up with is tutorials, and a lot of video stuff showing exactly how it's done, it's narrated by Stephen Fry and so on. It's really useful that thanks to Blu-ray we haven't needed to worry about file size, it's never crossed my mind." However, this doesn't mean the game will be bloated when sharing levels and creations on the web: "The game itself and the levels you produce are relatively compact."Comment

Re: Little Big Planet (PS3)
I'd think if they are already filling up dual layer BD's, they should be a little worried about file size.Comment

I think because none of the info on the disc is compressed. at least thats what I read.follow me on twitter: www.twitter.com/eton_riflesComment

Re: Little Big Planet (PS3)
Interesting. Not worried about the size of files, yet it takes up all 40 GB's? (isn't a dual layer BD 50 GB anyway, or is that a typo by what the developer said).

Re: Little Big Planet (PS3)
This level is huge. It's one of the pre-built levels. I'm guessing it's from the Story Mode.
