Re: Fable 2
Online and Offline. From my understanding though, your exact character as far as look (although something may have changed) doesn't carry over to online co-op, but everything else does and any experience, gold, items, ect., carry back over to your single player game. The ambient orbs are going to be really cool; being able to see people on your friends list represented by floating orbs in your world of where they are in theirs, and being to chat, trade/gift stuff, and view their stats and progress.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Fable 2
The more I read about this the more I am thinking of picking it up tomorrow night. It seems amazing.
I never played the first one, but it seems like this one has LOTS to do and accomplish. I don't know if I'll have enough time, but I'll probably give it a go.Comment

Eurogamer Review - 10
Fairy tales may be primarily about getting married and shoving elderly eccentrics into ovens, but more often than not, there's a thread of revolutionary spirit running through them as well. Along with the enchanted footwear and talking mirrors, there's a corrupt king who requires overthrowing, or a cruel and mysterious grip on the land that needs to be broken. It makes sense, then, that alongside the high adventure and tumbledown castles of Fable II, in amongst the midnight intrigue and haunted swamps, there's a similar spark of revolution at work. But this is regime-change at its most fundamental, and Lionhead's fascination with the world of choices and consequences has lead it to topple some of gaming's most accepted idols. Fable II explores what happens when a game does away with most forms of punishment, and does nothing but reward its players from start to finish. The results are astonishing.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Fable 2
RPG Site - 9.6
The world of Albion is truly a wonderful place to play in, and the game always does its best to draw the player in – be it through the constant changing appearance of your character and his dog to match your actions or how your child runs to greet you when you return to town from an adventure, Fable II is an RPG that remembers that role playing sometimes means more than equipping weapons and grinding for experience.
It means acting out a fantasy role, and forging your own path in an open world. Fable II allows you to do that better than almost every RPG before it.
So overall Fable II is a remarkably fun & original game, there is nothing quite like it available. Some small issues are not enough to make this anything other than a must purchase. Peter Molyneux and Lionhead have exceeded our expectations.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Fable 2
Dont know if this would be considered a spoiler, but i have a question
SpoilerIn the euro gamer review it talks about "death free combat". Do you not die in Fable 2? So its not a matter of if you can beat the game, its just how much other stuff you want to do?Check out my Tampa Bay Buccaneers CFM Thread.

Re: Fable 2
Sounds like Molyneux finally delivered on his ambitions with this one. As much as he deserves to be criticized for not backing up his talk with his previous efforts I like that he is a developer in this era of casual gaming and rehashing that really tries to achieve something different and risky with a big budget game.Comment

Amazon hasn't shipped my game yet, it better be here by tomorrow.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Fable 2
Man I spent $180 on games this month. I generally buy one new game a year(NBA 2k whatever, though I got 2k8 and Mass Effect last year) but there's so many good games coming out this year that I've had to suck it up and buy more than I usually do.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Re: Fable 2
Which route are you guys thinking of going with your character? Sword based, gun based or magic based? The guns look pretty bad-*** so far, so I am thinking of going that route.NCAA: Michigan Wolverines
MLB: St. Louis Cardinals
NHL: St. Louis Blues
NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers
EPL: Liverpool RedsComment
