if the xbox, to me, had a game that i just had to have, like the cube did with prime and zelda, then i would be more than happy to get it

right about now i see no reason to spend 200 bucks on it. Like i said, i can get for the most part the same games for the ps2. I've played halo, i've played morrowind, i've played madden, all on the xbox. Did it make me go out and buy one? nope, for whatever reason.

XBOXlive would be the only reason i would get the console, but like i said, i dont have enough time for the other machines; i cant see myself being able to break away from my current crap and pull away from playing online. I stopped my online binge when i saw that neverwinternights and unreal 2k3 were eating away at my sleep time. no thanks

Is exactly why I have an XBOX. Most sports games are multi cross games. So to play them on the box is to play the best version.
I too play for the games not the console..owned em all kept what appealed to me.
Not downing the PS2, it is a good system. However for a sports gamer there is no choice but the XBOX. I think I can live without MLB Baseball

Is exactly why I have an XBOX. Most sports games are multi cross games. So to play them on the box is to play the best version.

And all you guys go around speaking the ps2 has inferior graphics and is like a Nes compared to a ps1. The Xbox has more power, but that does not make a system.

Well have you a point but now flip it around. What is the difference with NFL 2K3? You can only use voice communication with the Xbox version. You can say what you want but there is absolutely no comaprison when it comes to playing an online game with it and w/o.
