Just got interested in this..is the problems with the guitar in RB only on the ps3 or is it the 360 also? Just trying to decide which system to get it on? Thanks in advance!

I think it's on them both. Mine and EG's are on the 360. Not sure about everyone else.

It's a problem on both, but if you have the choice, get the game for the 360. You can use the Guitar Hero guitars for the 360 where you can't on the PS3. So on the PS3, it is impossible to play with the full band because you need two guitars in that setup. Until Rock Band starts selling individual instruments, you'd have to buy a second PS3 Rock Band bundle to get another guitar.

I've been waiting for my replacement guitar for almost a month now.

wow, you might need to call. My replacement shipped one business day after I filled out the form. It was for the PS3 though.

go to EA's support site for Rockband and it walks you step by step through the process. Rather painless, I was surprised.

Hmm... Almost like they were expecting problems.

Seriously, I find myself barely flipping the strum bar so I dont break the damn thing!

Let me raise my glass and toast EA/Harmonix for having the worst videogame launch of 2007.

It was told RB would come out Nov. 20 and then Dec 20th, and finally Dec. 28th. Well Dec 28th has arrived and EB still doesn't have the game in. I pre-ordered near the beginning of November. Now the clerk says the game should be out sometime in the beginning of January. But somehow Best Buy was able to get a few bundles last week and the friend grabbed a 360 one.

I thought the whole point of pre-ordering was to get a copy on Day 1.

There's a part of me that doesn't want to give EA/Harmonix one penny over this disaster..................

Wow, thats crazy. I was at an EB a couple of weeks before Christmas and they had a dozen or so sitting on the floor for sale. That sounds strange that you could'nt get yours somehow.

Must be a Canada thing. My EB had about 15 of the Bundles all stacked in the middle of the store.

I was at circuit city the other day and they had 360 bundles stacked in the middle of the video game section.

On another note I've been using the 360 wireless guitar and it works perfectly with RB.

I had no trouble at all getting mine on Thursday, it was even from an EB Games. They had 3 stacked up in the middle.

I just picked mine up and I can't agree more. I started off on hard and I can't wait until I get to the point where I'll be able to play on expert. This game is sick. 169 is a bargain.

Still debating on whether to get this game or not. All reviews about the drums have been positives and that's the main selling point for me.

I keep looking at the DLC and see the list. How often do they plan on releasing songs and any possible idea at what might come out in 2008?
