The guitar is wireless but I doubt that the drums and the mic will be unless they jack up the price.

Argh. Hard to Handle is great fun to play, but the guitar solos are a little difficult since the cover band takes a slightly different solo than Rich Robinson takse on the album cut. I know the solo by heart from listening to the song so much back in the day, but I was screwing up on the solo due to the variations. Still nice to have though, as is Gimme Three Steps. Didn't try Limelight yet.

My PS3 replacement guitar is still doing good. I've put more hours into it than I did the original one. I hope it holds up.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow's PSN update, it better be a big one with all the DLC it has missed for the holidays.

Do you play the drums with shoes on? I've read where people's pedals have been snapping, so I've been playing without shoes because I don't slam the pedal so hard.

Speaking of drums though, I find them really challenging. I've played Guitar Hero a lot and I'm real comfortable with that part of Rock Band, but drums is another thing entirely. I'm still pushing through the solo tour on medium for the drums. It's hard enough, hopefully I'll be able to move up to hard though. I know I've failed a few times in the Band World Tour mode when they've thrown some songs like the Metallica ones at me when I've been playing the drums on medium. I haven't even tried Blackened again since it made me lose a lot of fan in the band mode.

I found the drums very challenging at the beginning as well. Much harder than guitar ever was for me when I played the very first Guitar Hero for the first time. But, I started to get the hang of them and I am now by the final tier of songs on hard. Can't beat it unfortunately until I get a new bass pedal, but I really did not think I was going to make it this far and feel pretty comfortable playing at this level. Some songs are brutal, but for the most part I can hold my own. I've seen videos of some of these songs on expert though and I do not know if I'll ever beat it on that level . . .

yikes, well I hope my pedal doesn't break. I was impressed with the speed of the replacement program though. My guitar broke Christmas night and I had my new guitar delivered on the 31st. I thought that was pretty good turnaround time.

I'm just mad because my roommate and I were about to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame... already halfway through the set... and it snapped.

Still waiting on a check from my mom before I decide...so I'm still debating on the pros/cons.

This may be dumb to ask but if I get the Rock Band bundle, is the guitar compatible with GH3 (for Xbox360)?

I'm wanting to get Rock Band + an extra guitar, but I wouldn't mind getting GH3 as well so would the smart thing for wanting two guitars be to get both the RB bundle as well as the GH3 bundle?

No, but the GH3 guitar is compatible with RB

I'm assuming you chose the Express Delivery? I ordered a new pedal over the weekend, so it should be here by the end of the week...

Yeah. I just gotta send the broke one back now so I get the $125 hold on my credit card taken off. If you did the express, it should arrive at your house two days after it ships. I got a shipment notification the day after I submitted my replacement form online (the 26th). Then UPS shipped it out the next day (the 27th) and I got it on Monday (the 31st, two business days later).
