Bands with duplicate names won't upload; i.e. my friends and I have a band called "ManBearPig", and there's already a band online called "ManBearPig" and thus we can't use that band online.

Perhaps this is the issue...? If not then it's probably something on their end.

Yea, I deleted one of my bands then re-made them under the same name, now it tells me that name is already being used so it wont show anything on xbox live or something...even though it was my band in the first place...

This is what I bought at Walmart for $60. It's a million times better than the RB guitar.

Have to disagree with you here, I have this guitar as a secondary option as well as it's the only thing in stock but it pales significantly in comparison to a functioning RB Strat IMO, I think you would find most people on the Harmonix board are quite happy with their replacement Strats. My first guitar went down but the replacement has been going strong for 2+ weeks.

That Xplorer guitar feels and looks so toyish and I absolute despise the clicking strum bar. My wife was ready to kill me the week I was waiting for my replacement as I was clicking away on the Xplorer, it really takes you out of the emersion experience.

I've found that most people that prefer GH guitars either have a broken RB guitar or began playing with a clicking strum bar and are having a hard time adjusting to not using it.

I would recommend the Xplorer as backup for when you have 4 people together or RMA your first generation RB guitar but to say it is a superior guitar is not true IMO.

so a friend of mine got this for Christmas and I finally played it. I've been a GH/RB ***** for a while now, but after playing it, it's grown a bit on me. Funny thing is, I'm completely awful on the guitar and I can't imagine myself picking it up well. I actually improved a lot on drums in the short time I've played it (about 7 full songs) and yeah, drumming is a lot of fun.

I was curious if other people had trouble with the drums picking up the drumsticks on time. Like, the first few times we played, it felt like you had to hit the drums way in advance of when the things were actually coming by. We tried calibrating it, and it seemed to work better, but it didn't always feel "right".

Also, the guitar is weird. Strumming down seemed hit and miss but strumming up seemed to work fine. Anybody else have a problem with this?

Man, I really miss playing the drums. I am waiting for a new kick pedal and before that I had to get new pads, so I haven't played in over two weeks!

How long did it take you to get the new pads? My blue pad stopped registering last week. I have a tracking number but it still hasn't shipped. I hope it ships soon...

You chose express delivery? The pads took about 5 days total from the day I requested. I got a tracking number immediately but for the first three days or so all it would say was "Billing Information Received". Once it finally shipped I got them in 2 days.

The footpedal is taking forever. After requesting a replacment it took about 5 days to even get a tracking number and then 5 more days after that for it to finally ship. I should get it tomorrow. Hopefully.
