My girlfriend is one set into expert level on drums (makes me sick) and I'm on the last set of medium. She also whips my *** on guitar, I'm just starting hard and she's been killing expert. To be fair though I've never touched the drums or a guitar before guitar hero and Rockband and she's had guitar lessons and has a brother that's a drummer. I've had a rough go with the pedal as well, usually it's when you hit the pedal and then there's offbeat notes (Like enter sandman on medium about the middle of the song).

Re: Harmonix's Rock Band now with Impressions
Quick question--I'm new to this game and my wife and I are just starting solo tours. She wants to play the bass, but when we created her character it would only let her play the guitar. Do I need 2 guitars to do a solo bass tour, or am I doing something wrong.
Thanks!

Re: Harmonix's Rock Band now with Impressions
Hopefully this post isn't against OS's TOS!!! If so, then a mod can delete it and I apologize.
I found a really cool PC mod that allows you to hook the Rockband drum set up to a PC. This free PC program basically allows you to play the Rockband drums on your PC and to hear lifelike real drum sounds through your PC speakers. I've done this and it sounds great !!!
For reference, there is no physical modication required to the RB drums at all. The PC will recognized the RB drums as a legitimate controller device by default. It's just a matter of installing the free program, hooking up the RB drum kit and rocking on !!!!
The "Clack" "Clack" sound of the drum sticks hitting the drum pads is a bit distracting but can be reduced by using one of many drum pad mods that can be found on YouTube or eBay auctions.
Here's a link to the free Drum Machine software if anyone is interested:

Re: Harmonix's Rock Band now with Impressions
Okay I'm about 80% sold on this game. I just have one more round of questions before I decide on the purchase..
Is there a difference between the PS3 and 360 version? Is one more stable then the other? I have GH on 360. Which is my next question. Does the GH guitar work better than the Rock Band one?
Then the last question is the major issue. How is the storage? I live in an old school that was turned into condos. I pay mostly for the location so I dont have that much storage. Do the drums fold or can be taken apart easily and stored in small space? I dont know if I want my living room looking like a studio. So Id probably play then put them in a closet.
Thanks in advance!Comment

As for storage, yeah, the drums are pretty easy to disassemble if you want to go that road. They collapse into a pretty tight package, but they aren't hard to take apart and reassemble either.Through music, you can live forever...TEAMS: San Diego Chargers, San Diego Padres, Notre Dame Fighting IrishComment

Re: Harmonix's Rock Band now with Impressions
The wife picked Rock Band up this weekend. We're completely hooked. She plays the drums while I rock the axe.
I moved up to medium and have been doing pretty good, but last night I got absolutely destroyed by Aerosmith's "Train Kept a Rollin". Man was that tough. And I was watching the drums and even on Easy it looked really hard.
But we're loving this game so far. I never thought I would.Comment

I am this [] close to finishing Expert guitar. Sad that I still haven't done it considering I've been playing GH since II came out.
