That's sad that the guitar sucks.

The only thing to me that interests me about Rock Band is that the guitars have buttons higher up the fretboard for solos. I always wished the Guitar Hero ones had those - it would have been awesome.

Timmay I think the guitar rocks. I like it better than the GH guitars. I have had mine since day 1 and it still works no problems. Maybe I am just lucky though...

Is anybody having a problem using all 4 instuments with the PS3? We are having no issues with the mic, drums, or first guitar, but, when we hook up the second Rockband guitar it is somewhat non-responsive. Seems like it will work for a while then I`ll look down and the red light on the USB wirless thing will be blinking. Anybody else had issues with this? We are trying to get the "band" together again tonight but it`s really frustrating to have one guitar go in and out in the middle of a song ....... it isn`t the batteries either.

Also, it is not just the second guitar. When I took my rockband guitar to a friends house as the second guitar it to started blinking in the middle of songs ......

I just sold the RB Guitar on ebay for $59 with $17.50 shipping. I'm fine with the Les Paul and Xplorer.

When it works, I like the RB guitar better then the GH one as well. I like the bigger size and the spacing of the buttons better. Only downside is the mediocre strum bar (it doesn't click though).

I'm in the same boat, man.

I bought one as a family gift about a month ago and opened it earlier this week to make sure all of the instruments worked OK after finally deciding to keep it. Now I cant wait for Christmas morning.

When it works, I like the RB guitar better then the GH one as well. I like the bigger size and the spacing of the buttons better. Only downside is the mediocre strum bar (it doesn't click though).

What do you mean exactly by "it doesn't click though"?

Like - it's not a spring, and it doesn't "bounce' back to neutral? Or something else, like it's just not noisy like the GH3 one?

It doesn't make the click sound when you strum, it still comes back to neutral. It is just quiet, that throws alot of my friends off that are used to the other guitars though.

Personally I like it better, just feels more natural.

I'm going to be completely honest here. I thought you guys were out of your mind for enjoying the Guitar Hero games and now Rock Band. Of course, I didn't play it for myself and I was on the outside looking in. This past weekend I played Rock Band and now I see what all the fuss is about (and probably why the Wii is so successful at the same time). I've never had so much fun with my family members like that in a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG TIME. I love Rock Band and I'm on the verge of purchasing it for myself & my son to rock too. It's great.

I got RB and I suck. Any tips? Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What instrument are you playing? I found the drums to be the easiest for me to pick up on. Start on easy, after a few songs, you'll definately get the hang of it. The guitar is nice too... you start on easy to get used to the controls... then when u move up, the blue fret begins to appear... in no time you'll definately get the hang of it and will feel accomplished when you pull off a 100% solo. I did this fast paced song on Expert and almost broke my ankle trying to keep up with the foot pedal... it was too much.

Love the game...but we have had if for 2 weeks and the guitar broke. We can't "strum down".
Very frustrating...for that much money it should be of better quality
