Well there's a code when you go to the online menu (where you can start online matches and stuff). There should be an item called: guitarhero.com. Hit that, and it should give you your code.

On GH2? No

GH3? Yes. There is a code inside the CD that you can enter in and you unlock 3 songs

I hate that song. It's just so cheesy - the tone and everything just... ugh. It's one of the many "just get through it to beat this difficulty level, and never play it again" songs for me.

Well the general consensus in the music world is that Eric Johnson has probably one of the best, fattest tones in that song. I find myself agreeing with that. To each their own, I guess.

They aren't that great. Only one I like is the Flyleaf song. The Marilyn Manson song is annoying to play, and I don't care for the AFI song that much with the notes.

Agreed on Flyleaf, but I like the AFI song. As a huge Manson fan, I cried during the first time I went through it. I haven no idea why that was the Manson song used or why they used a stupid remix.

After playing it more, I'm really hating what Neversoft did with song selection and note charts! I mean, I just really love Guitar Hero, so I might get this for Christmas. But it continually pisses me off that I know not only could they have had a better song selection (for Guitar Hero's sake), but some of the good songs on here have really sucky note charts that are... well, they aren't fun to play. I am still really griping about how they chose to make 3's and 7's, but that is just one of many examples.

I don't know if anybody else feels this way... where the songs are just plain hard to be hard. I mean, I can pass any of the regular 40 songs, really... I just think that they are more of a chore to pass than being able to have fun with them. Next year they should reduce the timing window marginally and make the game harder in that regard, and ease up the note charts just to make the game more fun. Not so many 3-button chords... only when they are necessary.
