Butcher Pete (part 1) by Roy Brown. I love all those songs. I've got the bongo bongo bongo on the congo song by the Andrews Sisters in my head now.

Edit:Cause I'm bored..From the manual..You can be exposed to radiation either directly from the enviroment, or by in ingesting irradiated food and water. A small amount of radiation will not hurt you, but as your accumulated exposure goes up, you will begin to suffer ill effects (Including death eventually)
              Thanks guys.

So, is there no positive to being Raded out? Does the man preaching in the pool of radiation not realize that he's going to die?!

                Dam....

Hey everybody, did the news get around
About a guy named Butcher Pete
Oh, Pete just flew into this town
And he's choppin' up all the women's meat

                [Chorus]
He's hackin' and wackin' and smackin'
He's hackin' and wackin' and smackin'
He's hackin' and wackin' and smackin'
He just hacks, wacks, choppin' that meat

Butcher Pete's got a long sharp knife
He starts choppin' and don't know when to stop
All you fellows gotta watch your wifes
'Cause Pete don't care who's meat he chops

Ever since Peter flew into town
                He's been havin' a ball
Just cuttin' and choppin' for miles around
Single women, married women, old maids and all

Wakes up in the morning, half past five
                Chops from sunrise to sunset
I don't see how he stays alive
Meat's gonna be the death of ole Pete, yeah

The police put Pete in jail
Yes, he finally met his faith
But when they came to pay his bail
They found him choppin' up his cell mate

That Butcher Pete is a crazy man
Tries to chop down the wind and the rain
Just hacks on anything he can get
Say, turn this record over, you ain't heard nothing yet

So, I'm not the only one that plays with the radio on at all times? Cool.

I think it helps give me some entertainment when I'm taking baby steps across the Waste Lands.

Yeah, just something about the combo of those songs and the wasteland just mesh perfectly for me and create atmosphere.

I was trying to go to Rivet City for the first time last night and went down the river running from building to building trying to avoid everyone while I had GNR playing. No fighting, but I did manage to avoid a few battles. Loved every minute of it.

I had no idea that GNR plays a few short 'raido shows' too. Some hero and his man servant rescuing a woman from slavers is the one I heard.

I really like that it's got an old 1940's radio show feel to it, though everything is taking place in 2077.

A lot of this fits in nicely with the book I'm reading: Stephen King's Dark Tower IV: Wizard And Glass.

All of these future events occurring in this story, yet so many practices, beliefs, actions are that of the Old West.

It's just an interesting perspective on things to see everyone start from the beginning in a later stage of humanity.

The key to this mission is not giving up, despite how difficult it might be to complete it entirely.

I guess I'm the only one thats dissapointed.

I made a comment about how Fallout 3 story was not drawing me in before, well thats times 10 now. I just beat the game.

Not only is the ending terrible, but it sneaks up on you. I could have sworn that I was only half way done with the main quest and then the credits roll.

By the way you cant continue playing after you beat the game, so if you have anything you want to do in the waste land you'd better take care of that before you decide to see the main quest through.

Yea that was last one was a little bit of a spoiler, but I know tons of people are gonna finish this thing thinking they can explore more or finish up the rest of the side quests later and they're wrong. If you follow my advice the ending wont be as dissapointing because you would have at least had the chance to experience some of the great sidequests in the game and actually see some of your actions shape the world around you.
