What am I supposed to do? It gives off no signals of which way to go or what to do. I've seen a rat and 1 soldier and I've been walking around for 30 minutes. I don't get this game at all. Help please?
Me either I fell like I have been walking around for days, I just don't get it. As always the manual sucks. I know I am looking for my dad but how do I know where the town is and if I am going in the right direction. I like the game but man I am lost as to what to do and how to do it

Read my reply to his post. It explains it.

        70 Hours...and DONE!

Now gonna take my last save, used the explorer perk and walk around as a LVL 20 badass.

Great game, worth every penny, an all timer for me. Kinda lame ending.

        Anyone know about the DLC?

In the GameInformer Previw I got before the game came out, it said something about the developers trying to make a Knights of the Nine size DLC to release arround Christmas.

I cant say I like the idea of the game ending and not being able to go back, but that is just one complaint for me. And Knights of the Nine sixed downloads are always a plus.
The info I posted a while back.

For someone who didn't play Oblivion, can you describe "Knights of the Nine" size....

                    Re: Fallout 3

Got this game yesterday and played about 3 hours and this game is outstanding!

I'm already into the story, love the targeting system and the graphics are great.

For the guys struggling when just beginning simply make sure you make the search for your dad is your active quest then follow the marker on the compass to the city of megaton. Once you are there just ask questions, talk to people and the story unfolds from there.

When reading the intial impressions i was thinking i was going to be constantly out of ammo but after leaving the vault, going to megaton then doing one quest i have a sawed off shotgun, combat shotgun, about 20 shot gun shells, 10mm pistol with 180 rounds, 2 hunting rifles with about 50 rounds and 12 frag grenades. I feel like a walking armory!

I'm playing through as a "good" sheriff style character the first time and i'm already looking forward to playing through again as a dark, evil assassin type next play through.

Well in Knights of the Nine, it was a good bit of added content. I dont remember how long it took me.

How the hell do I get into Rivet City, I'm blind. All I can see is a little bridge leading to a door where I need 100 Lockpicking to open.

The city is in the other half of the ship. Walk up the metal staircase it says "Rivet city" above it, a bum needing water will be sitting at the top..Near him is a switch on a post.Flick it, and a bridge will swing out and let you in.

To call this a "game" almost seems like an insult, this is a work of art imo.

If you haven't picked this up and have any interest in RPG's whatsoever do yourself a favour and get this game now!
