Some guy did that to me today. I was like WTF. Some other guy on my team later on in the game killed him and I went up to him and did it. It was awesome.

People would really be surprised how much strategy there is in the Skirmish game-types of Halo.

There's no strategy in deathmatch games no matter what game you play. R6, GRAW, Halo...if it's "slayer" it's just run-and-gun.

So does Skirmish = Deathmatch?

I hate all the Deathmatch modes (Sharpshooter in GRAW, etc) and it's a damn shame that most rooms ONLY play those modes.

Skirmish = the opposite of deathmatch.

Skirmish = assault and CTF, etc.

The slayer mode is mindless and unplayable to me. However the Capture the Flag, VIP and One Bomb modes are capable of holding my attention for several hours.

Especially considering that in the final version they'll be more maps. I just wish we could play Capture the Flag on Valhalla.

I'm sure I'll get Halo3 for the single player but I have zero desire to play it online.

i will amit that there is no i mean no strategy in slayer....but when it come to ctf or territories or bomb runs there is alot of strategy involved......who will get the flag , your plan of attack, who will drive and who will protect.....if u play with the right peeps....that is why i want to make a party with u OSers.....if anyone wants to play tonight we can try to set up a time tonight to get on and play objective based games....

Its safe to say that this beta got old fast, for me at least. I was thinking of purchasing Halo3, as of now, hell no.

I'll rent it for the single player campaign, Im better off getting spawn killed in R6.

i will...i love all of my halo games....i loved halo 1...prob the best of all of them..halo 2 was good at first but the single player was not as good as the hype made it out to be.....and i will get halo 3 and halo wars on release date......i am just hoping that the single player will be VERY good in Halo3
