so i just got done playing some BTB Training. Valhalla is so much more fun when its 6v6 and banshees. CTF on High Ground 6v6 was tons of fun as well. I wonder what other matchmaking changes bungie will come out with while the beta is out.

From a past weekly update

Perhaps more enticing is the mention of a VERY large map that went from being just about the most empty, soulless placeholder geometry in the entire game, to one of the moodiest, most atmospheric and beautiful maps we’ve ever made. It’s also the single largest multiplayer map. You pretty much need a vehicle to get around in it, so luckily, destroyed vehicles respawn super-fast.

I wonder exactly how many maps we'll get?

well Halo 1 had i think 9 or 10 maps......halo 2 had like 12 or 13...so i think halo 3 will have 15 to 16....just using theory.....but u got to count map editor if they put it into the game....

thanxs Flawless......just imagine 2 pelicans in the air fighting along with a couple of Banshies.....warthogs and tanks clashing on the ground:wink:...it would be very hectic....they need to make a halo game in rts mode.....wait it is called Halo Wars....lol

I think I remember in one of the Halo books that a Hornet was a fighter jet of some sort. I guess it will the the human equivalent of the Banshee.

Also I disagree with those that say Team Slayer doesn't take any strategy in Halo. If you play with the right settings you will need teamwork to win games against some of the more skilled people. For example, Halo 2 had Team Hardcore/MLG, and if you were at least level 25 in that playlist you would need teamwork to even win slayer games. When everyone has a weapon that can take someone out from anywhere on the map, you needed to call out locations of the enemies so you could take them down easier.

If your playing with Assault Rifle starts then strategy isn't needed as much because it's just a rush to gain the power weapons and then try and hold off the other team. I think if you play games with a Battle Rifle or Carbine start then there will be a lot more teamwork involved.

I was decent tonight. I ALMOST won a Slayer match against fellow OSers. But of course Ohios wins it.
