1)My biggest WTF moments probably takes place in FF7.......When
Sephiroth kills Aeris....i took all the time to level her up and then she gets stabed....I have never cussed that much at a game before....lol.
2)In KOTOR 1 when you find out you are the Exile Revan that went to the Mandalorian Wars with Malak.
3)In KOTOR 2 when you go through assembling the Jedi Council only for them to try and kill you.

1. Me and my dad playing Streets of Rage 3 trying to get the last ending. We still haven't beaten that damn Robot Y in time.
2. Staying up all night in 6th grade playing nfl2k and later nfl2k1

First one that comes to mind is the Opera House scene in 'Final Fantasy VI' (FFIII on SNES). Just a beautiful scene. Totally unexpected, and admittedly disliked by the younger Johnny initially, it was a hallmark gaming moment, IMO.

1. KOTOR 1 with the whole Revan plot twist, honestly didn't see it coming at all. I love the game, I'm playing through it again right now, but now I kinda realize when compared with what has come out since that some things in the game could have been better (not the story, but things like fighting, graphics).
2. NCAA 2004, the most unbelievable play I have ever witnessed: My buddy and I were playing OSU vs Michigan (both on OSU), 20 seconds left, we are up by 2 after just going ahead with a TD. UM ball on their own 20 after touchback, throw a 40 yard bomb to Avant, however is deflected by Dustin Fox (OSU CB), the ball then proceeds to hit Avant's foot, bounce up, hit Fox's helmet, and Avant makes a diving catch towards the sideline. This sets up a 15 yard pass play after a lame duck is thrown up (one of those passes where you hit the QB but he still got it off) and is caught, Michigan kicks a FG to win the game. We were both going insane.
3. Zelda 64 and that damn Water Temple, I was looking for keys for probably about 8 hours.
4. Madden 99. My friends and I were playing a fantasy draft (which at the time was with all fake teams) the format was that of a 16 team playoff, and we made it into the finals. We were the Colonials and had Michael Irvin on our team I believe (if he wasn't in the game it must have been Madden 64). We need a TD to win the game, FG to tie it with just time for one more play, FG was out of the question so I bombed it to my friend John (Irvin) and the ball went through the DB into his hands and we won the game.
5. Getting Oblivion and just being overwhelmed once I got out of that prison thing, that was my first game on the 360 and to just see it in all of it's glory was something to behold for me.
6. Beating KOTOR 2 and thinking to myself "...that's it?".
7. Playing Halo Co-Op and encountering The Flood or whatever they were called for the first time.Comment

Coming in first place in a game of BF1942. Memorable because it only happened once.
Finishing Oblivion. It was the first RPG I've really played.
NFL 2K5. I had KC playing the last game of an online league season against undefeated NE. Down by 6 with a minute to go, Green hits Dante Hall with a bomb for the winning TD.
NBA 2K7 games decided on the last possession.Comment

Hmm I got a couple of them
1. When I first started the Call of Duty 3 Single-Player on the 360. I just hooked it up to an HD T.V. for the first time and when the guy chasing the truck got blown up, I thought that was pretty awesome.
2. The old days of going out into the garage, no matter the the temp in there (it would get really cold in there sometimes), and playing RBI Baseball on the NES.

Easily the most insane play I've ever had in NCAA, I think it was '04 or '05:
My friend and I are playing against each other, he's USC and I'm Ohio State. It's winding down and he's leading by 1 after a late touchdown. There's 8 seconds left when he kicks off to me and 5 left after the return.
I drop back for a Hail Mary, but the pass was off and the ball bounces to the ground with no time left.
My friend goes nuts (because he had never beaten me before), but I'm sitting their and I see the flag on the ground. Defensive Pass Interference! So I move up 15 yards, to about the 30-35 yrd line. My friend has calmed down and taken control of the sticks once again.
I throw another Hail Mary, it bounces off my recievers hands, off one of his defenders hands, off another one of my recievers, then back into the ORIGINAL recievers hands (I had been controlling him, trying to user catch, and just kept running straight after the first deflection.) he catches it and just strolls into the endzone.
It was probably the coolest moment ever in a video game for me.Comment

Another one...when you begin playing the Big Shell in MGS2 as Raiden and not Snake. I thought Kojima was having fun with the player with deja vu during the swim up entrance so eerily similar to that of MGS1, then whammo!...some silver haired dude strips off the mask (a character I didn't hate as much as most).

No particular order:
1. I was undefeated in Tecmo Super Bowl for over three years and finally one of my friends had me on the ropes (brother's friend actually). We were NFC vs. AFC and I was down by 2 with very little time left. The kid had just scored a TD to go up on me by 2 and that looked to be that. He was going nuts (which makes this sweeter). I return the kickoff to the 35(?), throw a quick screen pass to Barry Sanders (on a play he GUESSED) and kicked what looked to be a 70 yard field goal that bounced off the post and in with no time left on the clock. That was the best win I've ever had in a sports game (my brother has beaten me in Tecmo since, but nobody else).
2. Beating Golden Axe at the bowling alley with my brother. We were on our last two quarters and a crowd gathered (all fat kids whose parents were in a league like ours) and still remember the last scene like it was yesterday (17 years ago now....wow).
3. Beating Suikoden and Suikoden 2 and getting EVERY star of destiny. That series is great (the fifth is the best one and incredibly slept on).
4. GRAW 2 going 26 and 0 on Lagoon. I loved that game, but haven't touched it in a while. THAT was the best I ever played.
5. An accumulation of too many weekends to count, but my friend Brendan and I used to have world series after world series in Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball on SNES and there was a glitch where player 2's relievers or starting pitchers couldn't be warmed up or were tired as soon as they were needed (I forget what exactly) which means that we always alternated between who was the second player from series to series. The pitching fatigue glitch ALWAYS came into play and no matter how big of a series lead player 2 had, player one would always win the series (I think we each won ONE series as player 2, but that may be my memory going...).
All in all, ya gotta love stupid memories like these...The line must be drawn HERE! This far, no further!Comment
