1)My biggest WTF moments probably takes place in FF7.......When
Sephiroth kills Aeris....i took all the time to level her up and then she gets stabed....I have never cussed that much at a game before....lol.

It'll take awhile for me to come up with my list (if I even can - so many possibilities), but this is definitely numero uno for me as well. Among my first RPG's, had not seen much "real" death in video games until that point....yeah, it broke me up.

3. Hitting my first home-run with my RTTS player on MLB 07: The Show.

Very underrated moment right there....I nearly went through the roof when my .200 backup 2B yanked one over the LF wall.

I broke my glasses in half out of anger when my brother beat me on a walk-off HR in Ken Griffey's Slugfest on the 64.

Ace Combat 2 (PSX): Simply beating it; the last mission was really really difficult for me. If I remember right it had the player flying a plane through a tight tunnel to destroy some reactor core or something, while being shot at from all sides.

Madden 2002 (PS2): NFC championship game, my Dallas Cowboys vs my friend's San Francisco 49ers. I was behind with time for one play left, with Michael Vick as my quarterback. I call the Hail Mary, scramble right, and launch the ball deep. Receiver Marcus Robinson gets it and is running to the endzone (it was a real heave-ho affair), and get shoe-string tackled at the one-inch line. My friend who beat me goes on to crush a third mutual friend of ours in the Super Bowl.

WWF Smackdown (PSX): after losing the World Heavyweight Title to a friend in a cage match, my brother takes his favorite red controller out of the PSX, goes outside to our brick patio, grabs it by the end of the cord, and whips it over his head and down on the bricks. Fifteen minutes after having done this, he puts it back together with electrical tape. To this day the controller still works, and it still has the tape on it.

Guitar Hero II (360): during an exam study break, I go over to my college friends' suite (where I kept my XBOX360) to play some Guitar Hero. What was supposed to be a short three or four song session turned into a marathon through the upper tiers of Expert career mode, which culminated with me beating many of the Tier 8 songs for the first time (I really felt like I accomplished something when I beat Psychbilly Freakout, Hangar 18, and Institutionalized in succession) and ultimately passing Freebird with a bunch of guys cheering me on. It was a really dorky but cool moment.

Spare Change (c64) Playing without dying and getting the score to flip back to all zeros

Two-On-Two (c64) Putting up a last second three to win the GBA Championship (I think thats what its called)

TV Sports Basketball (Amiga) Losing the championship game to Miami.

Im sure I had more but those stuck out the most as it was in my goldenage of gaming.

The moment I will always remember is playing NHL '94 with a friend of mine for the first time. We were playing in cooperative mode and had just given up a goal. On that game, you could check guys at basically any time, so being ticked that the CPU scored, I skated over and just completely leveled the guy that had just scored. My friend was taking a drink of milk at the time. This was the first time he had ever seen this in the game and he starts laughing. Milk was literally coming out of his nose. I guess you had to be there to appreciate just how funny it was.

1. Playing resident evil when the dog jumps through the window.
2. Playing madden 05 online down 30 - 0 the guy asks if I want to quit I say no, I come back through a bomb with 16 seconds left I win 31-30

Halo 1


I was playing 16 player CTF on Sidewinder. 15 second respawns.


The opposing team makes an attack. I die early in the attack. I have to sit and wait 15 seconds. The rest of my team is killed. Now we are all waiting. The opposing team grabs the flag, and takes off in a wart hog. Its not looking good.


I'm the first one to spawn, and I spawn at the top of our base. I go through the warps, and a rocket launcher is available. By this time, the other team has already rounded the corner, and is heading straight for the base. I grab the rocket, jump off the cliff, and shoot a rocket WAY WAY WAY out in front of where the warthog was at.

Now if you remember in Halo 1, rockets didnt lock on. Also, the rockets were SLOW. So me and my whole team are now watching my screen....

and watching...
and watching...

then i think to myself (Hey, that rocket might actually...)


BOOM

Direct hit

FROM DEEP.


A couple of guys from our team had already spawned and were heading over in the warthog, and got the flag return.


Single greatest halo experience of my life.

We had 4 Xboxs, 4 Big Screen TVs, 16 Controllers, and 2 Big rooms.


We just put two boxes and two tvs in both rooms, and linked them up through a router....


You have no idea how intense these games got...

Sometimes we would intentionally let our better players play under the names of our sucky players, and vice versa, just so the other team thought they had killed our good guy and could run up for an attack...

Little did they know they had just killed one of our sucky players...


I could probably write a book about our Halo 1 system link games.

lol....i was lucky to get 4 peeps on one xbox....and we did that to when we did get a big game going but that was halo 2 system liink but with two xboxes...me and my friend were the best in the neighborhood so when we play we let somebody else use our peeps and then you could just here the cussing..."I just got killed by him...how the **** did that happen"...lol

My biggest moment. My roommate and I were playing Madden 99 on the PSX, he was the Jets I think I was the Raiders. I scored with 1 second to go to take the lead, only for Aaron Glenn to return the kickoff for a TD, before you ask we had gentlemen rules at the end of games, such as never kneel the ball or in my case don't pooch kick to a linemen or TE.
