Re: Gamefly?
Can anybody help me understand the upgrade process, will they charge you the new upgraded price as soon as you choose to do it?
Like make you pay another 29.99$ or will they just add onto the previous price you already paid?Comment

Re: Gamefly?
When I did upgraded a few months back, they charged me a prorated amount for the time left in the billing cycle then whenever they charged the next time for the next month, it was the new price.Comment

Re: Gamefly?
I did a one month trial of gamefly for 9.99 and was really disappointed with their supply. I had MLB 2k10 on my queue and they didn't have it available so they simply shipped out the next game with no notice.
I just feel that if I am going to pay $15 a month, they sure as heck better have the games that I want to play.
Having had Netflix in the past also, their shipping times were a day or two behind what I've come to expect from Netflix who has warehouses all over the place.
I would not recommend Gamefly.Comment

Re: Gamefly?
My only complaint about the queue is that I wish you could prioritize things. So if you want the first game on the list, no matter what, you don't have to spend time filtering your queue. Or you could mark several games as wait a number of days before they start looking at everything.Comment

Re: Gamefly?
well i just joined gamefly on saturday. only had NCAA FOOTBALL 11 in my gameQ ( with very low availability) and they are shipping it today! and since they have a shipping center where i live here in los angeles i should get games in one day, 2 days max.Last edited by Rawdeal28; 07-27-2010, 05:23 PM."on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"

Re: Gamefly Subscribers
I've had it for about a year and love it. Quick tip though, if you plan on getting it, make sure you have new release games on your queue a while before they are out, and with an empty spot in your games you have out. If not, you'll often wait a couple weeks before it gets shipped. I made that mistake with a couple new releases, and didn't get the game for almost a month. Aside from that, I love it, as it saves me a bunch of money every month.Comment

Re: Gamefly Subscribers
I never knew that, thanks for the advice. I've had it for a few months now and the only thing I don't like is how long it takes for games to reach the clearinghouse. Basically, you are without a game for a week because I live in Boston and my clearinghouse is in Pittsburgh and it takes two days to get there and then two days to ship the new game back. So I have to mail my game in Monday if I hope to have it by the weekend.
One incident I had was they sent me a game that was really far down on my list (7th) even though other games were high in availability. I thought that was kinda weird, it also took an extended period of time to get that game to me.
However, overall I love the service and I feel like it's saving me a ton of money. I used to go through games every week buying and trading them on Amazon and Gamestop, while getting peanuts in return for them.Comment

Re: Gamefly?
I used Gamefly for a while. The shipping was slow, their availability was sketchy and their throttling was the worst. At one point they didn't send me any games for over a week, and I had several "available now" titles in my queue. I rarely got anything that was in my top 10, which most of the time had 1-2 newer titles and a bunch of older sports games/easy achievement games. I'll never use their service again, my money is better spent elsewhere.NFL: Green Bay Packers
MLB: Pittsburgh Pirates, Colorado Rockies
NBA: Denver Nuggets
NHL: Colorado Avalanche, Pittsburgh Penguins
NCAA: Air Force Falcons, Penn State Nittany LionsComment
