So to get the different endings, you have to restart at different points? Do you have to save too?

Because I want to just do a part, skip over the rest and change another part. Don't really want to play through the whole thing again and again.

Okay, no, you can't change one thing in one scene, then skip ahead. It will revert back to how it was saved originally. (Learned that the hard way, of course.) So if you're going "The Perfect Crime" for instance, you can start at "Hassan's Shop," but you have to play the whole game (with autosave on) from that point on. You can't just only play the pivotal scenes. Yes it sucks, but it's already only an 12-20 hr plat. Would be like a 10-hr plat if they did it the other way.

Most of the endings don't require you start any earlier than "On the Loose," though. So at worst they take an hour to get. Most are shorter.

First of all, yeah man, some of the endings are way awesome. They deserve to be seen. Second, yeah plus you don't have to play from the beginning, you can just start at certain scenes ... not sure how much more I should say about that ... point is, getting the different endings only requires you change a couple things here and there, not a full playthrough.



Yeah it's definitely pretty amazing in terms of how different your various playthroughs will be. Quality game for sure.

How does that work...say I do something different and someone dies (or lives), does that then change the rest of the chapters I can select? IE go to a good point and change things, and just play through the rest of the game?

Let's say the whole game is 10 scenes, 1-10. You've done all 10, so they're all available from the menu. You change something in scene 4 (say to get an alternate trophy), then go to the menu and load scene 6. Scene 6 will NOT have changed because of what you did in scene 4 (even if you had autosave turned on). To change scene 6, you would have had to play scene 4, 5 & 6 consecutively.

That's how it works. Like I said, I learned the hard way, lol.

A more concrete example would be, if you need Ethan to be in jail, getting him caught by police, then going back to the menu, then loading a later scene: he will not be in jail unless he was already there when you played the first time. (Does that make sense?) So in order for him to still be in jail at a later scene, you need to play up to that scene, so on and so forth across the board.

What I am doing right now is just loading up previous Chapters to get trophies that I missed. Then I plan to run through this game one more time to collect any that needed me to play the game from start to finish saving everyone. The most difficult trophy so far I think is the one with the car on the highway...........but I was reading of a good strategy on how to get it.

Then I plan to run through this game one more time to collect any that needed me to play the game from start to finish saving everyone. The most difficult trophy so far I think is the one with the car on the highway...........but I was reading of a good strategy on how to get it.

I freakin' love this game.

Even with The Show out, I find myself coming back to this game just to see more. It's incredible.

I've always been a fan of those type of "select a path" books and this is beyond anything those could have offered me.
