Re: Rage (iD Software's new FPS using their Tech-5 Engine)
Wow... I seriously think I'm going to be picking up three games on one day if the release dates for this, Dark Souls, and NBA stay the same.
This game looks great. I'm going to end up a recluse after all these games come out in the fall/winter.Last edited by CC; 06-30-2011, 01:13 PM.Comment

PS3 version has half (possibly less) the framerate at 20-30 instead of 60 but the 360 version is on 4 discs.

I like how they are focusing on keeping the experience fresh, I hate getting bored halfway through a game because it becomes monotonous.Comment

RAGE "Online Pass" locks out single-player content
RAGE's creative director Tim Willits has detailed the online pass system set to feature in the upcoming post-apocalyptic shooter, revealing that rather than locking second-hand buyers out of the game's multiplayer modes, certain single-player content will only be available to a "first-time buyer".
Gamers who buy the game new and register the one-time use code included in the box will be given access to a set of additional single-player missions accessed through sewer hatches dotted around the world.
If you don't buy the game new, you'll have to pay an additional fee to access the content.Comment

I completely agree, locking out multiplayer content is one thing, but locking out singleplayer content is crossing the line.My Teams

Re: Rage (iD Software's new FPS using their Tech-5 Engine)
Don't blame them really. Places like Gamestop are profitting from this more so than anyone else benefits from the preowned market. They give people trading in their game crappy amounts usually and then mark up the trade in to be about 5 or 10$ under what you could buy for new.Comment
