If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -

Re: Mafia II (PS3/360)
Good demo. I could it see it selling a lot of people, but damn if it isn't ugly when you're driving around - so much aliasing and dithering. Interiors and cutscenes, however, look great. Two things that were really great about the first Mafia, where the atmosphere and little details, and it's the same with Mafia II. Things like being able to open windows, turn on faucets, open the fridge to get a drink or some food, flush toilets, shine your shoes, shoot up a store and come back to see crime scene tape. These may seem insignificant, but they all add up to making you more immersed and the game world more believable.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Mafia II (PS3/360)
I agree its kinds ugly outside, not enough to turn me off though. I also was underwhelmed by the feel/sound of shooting the guns. Hard to explain. Still very interested in the game. LIke the Playboy thing.PSN: JISTIC_OS

Re: Mafia II (PS3/360)
my two favorite things to do in the demo:
*flush the toilet
* look at the naked playmate
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: Mafia II (PS3/360)
I've been watching some youtube videos of the demo. Seems like the cars are easier to control than in Mafia 1. In Mafia 1, whenever you speed up too much you can't really control your car and it's nearly impossible to stop before hitting something.
Can anyone confirm that it's easier to control the cars in Mafia 2?My Specs:

Re: Mafia II (PS3/360)
yeah the cars are easier to handle in Mafia II. The cops are relentless though, running over pedestrians as they pursue me..lol
BTW...I thought it was cool that I was messing with stuff and didn't realize I had my weapon drawn and the cops spotted me and started chasing me...LOLI can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Yeah, the cops could spot your weapon in Mafia 1. I'm really happy they kept many features. Some games change too much in the sequel, but here many things are the same, and I'm really happy that's the way it is.My Specs:

I am having a blast just checking out the city. I like wandering into people's backyards who are at a title having a polite conversation and just standing there.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I understand that there's a Physix option, or something like that...at least for the PC. Is it the same for the console? And is it really different with it on/off?My Specs:

Re: Mafia II (PS3/360)
Love the demo. Shooting is a little too easy to me. I love driving with Simulation turned on. Feels a lot more like Mafia 1. Graphics are great and the magazines are even better. This game is a day one purchase for me easily. If this had Co-op, this would easily have a chance to be my favorite game of all time surpassing GTA IV.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”
