Alot of time the kills make no sense though. I could be standing there shooting someone with a shotgun and they shoot me once and i die. That kind of stuff is annoying.

Seems to only happen with the shotgun though. Must be really inaccurate.

It's not just the shotgun, I'm using it as an example. I could have the battle rifle or something and I'm unloading everything yet all of a sudden I get shot and die.

I haven't had any problems with any other gun except that damn shotgun.

One thing I need to work on is my plasma grenade throwing skills.

Thanks to all who answered about the Skull achievment problem. Apparently yes, you only get achievment for certain skulls. I just happened to find two of the ones that give you no achievement.

Wow, it seems like alot of you do not like the single-player campaign. I thoroughly enjoyed it (aside from the 8th level). I have enjoyed all the Halo games' single player campaigns. The main reason I buy the games actually (I know I am in the minority here). Of course, when Halo 2 initially came out I did not have Live, so that could be a big reason why I was never sucked into Halo multiplayer. I am playing it more now and enjoy it, but single-player is still what I enjoy most.

The online co-op with the single player is fun but by myself it's pretty boring.

I believe all the skulls are "gold" skulls except for two, which are silver. You get achievements for gold skulls and the silver are just easter eggs.

and I loved the single player in halo 3. I thought some of the missions could have been a little more epic, but nonetheless, I enjoyed it and the way it ended.

It was only a rental? You should be ashamed as a 360 owner...isn't 'Halo 3' a MUST BUY!? I think there's a special circle of hell for folks who own an Xbox and don't have Halo, LOL.

I think the campaign is awesome. I never even bothered finishing the campaign on the first two Halo games. Just couldn't get into it, but for some reason, I loved the Halo 3 campaign. I don't know why. But the 8th level sucked, in my opinion.
