Re: Halo 3 Impressions
So I just finished the campaign and I was just wondering, is that it? After the (supposed) final cut-scene, I get a "Thanks for playing Halo 3" message and I press A and I'm right back in the menu. No credits or whatever. Played on Normal, by the way.
I loved the game though, it definitely gave me that epic feel and something was really at stake. Now I gotta go try playing this online since my last two Halo games were played on the PC.Comment

Re: Halo 3 Impressions
Went out and bought it because everyone is talking it up. Played about an hour and a half and I'm not impressed. The best word I can give that sums up how I feel about this game is "mediocre".
I haven't tried multiplayer yet, though... Maybe that'll be better.
I'm leaning towards going and trading it in already.Comment

Not taking this game online is like having an internet account and not browsing the web.Comment

Re: Halo 3 Impressions
Being this is the first Halo game i've REALLY played (rented Halo 1 and 2, only played briefly), i'm really enjoying the game. Even the single player campaign. It definitely does have the "epic" feel I always heard about with the first two Halo's.
I suck pretty bad online, but with time i'll get better. Even getting my arse kicked online is fun.Comment

Re: Halo 3 Impressions
To be successful at Halo MP, you HAVE to understand a few things:
You MUST know the map. If that requires booting up a custom game and just walking around, then do it. You must know the location of every weapon, and you must know landmarks on each map.
You MUST understand each weapon, and how it is MEANT to be used. I ALWAYS try to have a medium/long range weapon, and a short range weapon.
With an assault rifle, battle rifle, and grenades, you can beat ANYONE, with the exception of that long range sniper.Comment

1.) There is NO way that killed you. That was such BS. Make sure to tell everyone possible that you believe that was bull****.
2.) All bodies must be tea-bagged. Always. Even in the middle of a fight, you must tea-bag any that have fallen before.Last edited by The C; 10-05-2007, 01:32 PM.Comment

You forgot the first two tenants to being a Halo player.
