I guess I'm the only one who liked the 8th level.

Yea, there were parts where I just ran for my life, but only like twice and it was because I got impatient. The part in the last room where you have to blow those three things up was frustrating, but I enjoyed it because I had to stop, think for a minute and develop a plan of attack so I could survive.

It's definitely a tough level, and fighting all flood can get boring at times, but the joy I felt when I was fighting alongside the Arbiter and running for the exit was intense.

I picked up an invisibility after coming back from the room where you get (spoiler), and then the three cores were easy. once you kill the cores, escaping is pretty fun, but the first part of the level sucked.

I just dont think the flood is very fun to fight in Halo 3. Thats the only thing that i felt wasnt gold in campaign, the flood.

Finished it earlier, thought it was a solid ending, the last level was pretty fun i guess. The Ark and The Covenant are still by far the most fun levels in the game.

I would just pick up those covenant deployable shields and toss them behind me to block the flood from chasing me. Although when I came back to escape I had to make my way around them since they were still there.

Just use plasma rifles and melees. The flood are like allergic to those.

I have a question.

My son just bought Halo 3?

In order to play 2 player offline, do you really need another profile from the dashboard. We have the first Halo, and I know we didn't create another profile.

You never have to reload plasma weapons.

You can also use the guest sign-in on xbox live so you can both play with one account in a social lobby.

I really didn't like the whole later half of the game. I kind of wanted to finish just for the achievement points after Keyes had her Leeroy Jenkins moment for no reason. It was laughable.

Supposedly you can go here, set your armor to look how you want it and then submit it to Bungie and it will get updated in the game. I doubt this works, but a buddy of mine at work just sent it to me and now I'm curious.
