        OK I need help,

        SPOILERS

In chapter 5 when that guy cuts off all the oxygen and you need to make a run for it back to the chem lab before your air runs out, I get to the chem lab and am not sure what I am supposed to do with that big vial I have with me. Always have like 10 seconds to spare before I suffocate and it's pandemonium because I'm not sure what to do. Didn't mind the asteroid shooting like some did, brought me back to my Atari days, but it's frustrating trying to read your map to find out where the chem lab is with your air running out and then finally getting there with seconds to spare and not knowing what to do.

Hahaha... this could go back and forth forever.

I think ultimately, in my world, it doesn't take anything away... just adds to that creepy scary movie feel. For me it works, for you it might take away... that's the beauty of us all being allowed personal preferences and opinions. Sometimes I actually feel the first person view takes away, because some of the characteristics are very non person...esque... ? Haha.

For example... who honestly walks around holding their gun up like that the entire time? My arms would be completely exhausted...

Anyway... looks like people are enjoying this game, so good job EA

I am loving this game...but I find it impossible to play for more than an hour or two straight. I find myself constantly needing to pause, or stop playing, because I'm always getting worked up about what is coming next.

Especially at the part I'm currently at(Chapter 6):

That's how I prefer to see it, actually.

It's such a completely unrealistic game and story, that I'm not going to get into it as a "it's me" sort of thing. I prefer to think of it as this guy however many years from now, in this crazy universe, going through this crazy story. That makes it more believable and immerses me more than if they try to make it feel like it's actually me going through.

I kind of view it as watching a movie, except that I'm guiding the character through the story instead of just watching.

Great friggin game! On chp 9, and I think I just spotted a new monster that hauled @ss when it saw me. Looked wierd. Cant wait to see what it was. I am suckin with the ammo though, seems like I run out often. Luckily for me I excel in the art of nija skills

                      Re: Dead Space (360/PS3)

It is a very good game.
I actually prefer giving those creatures a beat down rather than shooting them, so I tend to have a decent amount of ammo.
One thing I like...is when a creature does get hold of you you have the chance to break free ala the Marvel game.
I do wish there were some different enemies though.
...and I'm also getting tired of the teammate on the PDA guiding you through the game technique.

You read the map? I just click on R3 button to let the game point me where to go. Perhaps that will help you save a few seconds.

And if you get to the point of total frustration - there is a simple cheat that will replenish your air at the pause screen.

That's what I was going to say... Who reads the map? Haha.

Just click R3 bro... the game will become MUCH easier.

lol, i went through the first chapter and a half before I realized I could just click R3. I kept thinking, "man, I wish I didn't have to keep checking the map every couple of turns... if only there was a better way.."

I love the R3 button, sometimes I just want to know where to go without guessing or pulling up the map. I wish more games had this.
