I think this is just a case of me having to get better at deciphering clues and reading people. I know about calling them liars with evidence but sometimes it feels like that should have worked. IDK I just hate the sound that plays when you choose wrong.

I think I found everything, but I am having trouble moving forward. Last item I discovered was the two way mirror, but he said there is a room on the other side? Was that just the bathroom?

go back in the alley and hang a left. Go to the dead end, and look to your left. there's a background covering up the building that the camera is in.

So am I the only one who wants to yell out "OBJECTION" or "HOLD IT" when I try to catch someone in a lie?

Just wanted to say this game is beautiful. I am someone who rarely plays "different" style games. I am a sports gamer and typical shooter gamer as well...But if for whatever reason you are hesitant...at least try the game.

That begin said..I am not that good at the game. If you have finished the first 6 missions please see my spoiler..I have a couple of questions.

I am terrible at calling people bluffs and I was curious if anyone had any tips. I think out of the first two "real missions" I have probably answered correctly on 40%. I have also just received 3 stars for both missions.

I guess I am struggling because in the first mission I accused that lady in the shoe store (which was clearly wrong...I thought I was reading her facial expressions correctly) So now I tend to just hit X and be in the middle...

Also a question: I don't like driving but will you miss all of the side missions if you skip?

yes, letting your partner drive will bypass the street cases.

About letting your partner drive, is there certain times where it's like the GTA IV cab system where you can actually sit in the car as he drives so you can go over your notes/clues?

I remember reading that we could but the first time I let my partner drive it just skipped ahead to the spot we were going to.



That gif is amazing.

if u let ur partner drive, the game will let the characters finish any dialogue that needs to be finished first. then after that, it will skip to the destination. while thier talking u can look through your notes though.

A couple of questions:

1. Can you turn the music indicator off for wrong line of questioning or accusing people of lying when they aren't?

2. With all aids turned off (both aids for evidence and the music for wrong line of questioning) is the game too difficult? Likewise, is it too easy with all of the aids turned on?

Got my copy for the PS3 and logged into the Social Club and unlocked a sweet uniform.

Hope the game is as amazing as you guys are saying and reviews are stating.

I just noticed that. The dialogue in this game is awesome. Some of the random conversations you walk through is hilarious.

When I first promoted to detective, I walk out of the office and the secretary says this:

He plays a sax and when he plays it really gets me going.

Funnily enough, I ended up playing with my fiance watching, and she seemed to be interested in helping me through.
